I will be looking into other older versions of the 450 when I have time. I've not included any cars in this as the cars were not any of VM's mods.
1961 Jaguar E-Type
1995 Audi RS2
1995 BMW E34 M5
1998 VW Golf Mk3 GTi
2004 Audi S4
2009 Seat Ibiza Cupra
SGD CarPark
These were removed from the workshop weeks earlier and do not have a dummy mod currently available, though I still have my backup of these mods and could try to rig up some replacement files similar to what killakanz and JK have done here. It would probably involve using models with the same filenames, but just pointing back to vanilla traffic assets.
Does this sound like an issue I should focus on? Are many people still having issues with these car assets? I hate the idea of the community losing so much time and effort at no fault to the users. Thank you to everyone who's helping with this dummy mod!
If you can provide any help to save my game that would be much appreciated :)
If you need any help with that mod's dummy files, I'd be glad to assist!
To anyone who wants to prevent any problems in the future - BACK UP YOUR MOD FOLDER!!
It is located at /Steam/steamapps/workshop/446800/content
Copy & Paste the folders to a safe place so you will never lose them if a mod gets taken off the workshop!
As others have said, game developers and Steam really should provide a recovery mechanism when this sort of thing happens in games that enable such significant use of the workshop.
This should resolve the remaining issues people were having since the mods were deleted yesterday.
Thankfully I only had one of these mods installed, but hadn't got to its activation year.
You do good work, Killakanz.
Anyway, I've always had problems with their models and their textures always came back in reverse
