Sadly not, at least not from me, you may try looking for something similar.
Thank you for your work, a real must have mod.
Sadly I'm not playing Attila anymore :/
You can always modify the files and lower the melee hit chances - this will make soldiers fight longer.
Yeah, I can leave it be. I am using a modified version of the mod myself but it's just my preference.
@DxG6767
No.
@DreamNegater
No idea.
Either way thanks for this mod i have used it for a lot of years and brought me lots of fun.
Thanks for feedback, I will try to look into it after my exams, since it will take some time to make battle tests.
You think that didn't really happen, in history, as one side gained advantage over another? Think again...
I prefer this to anything containing the sad "matched_combat" animations. The best way to modify rate of death is to modify 'battle_entities' file. I just had a battle where I outnumbered the enemy and my troop quality was vastly superior and it still took nearly 30 minutes to end the battle.
There is no fault with this mod at all ! This mod is a game changer !!
This needs to be in MK 1212AD
1) I don't have enough skill to create my own animatons of course. If anything, I could borrow some animations from other mods with their creators' approval... I will also try to do something on my own but I doubt it will work.
2) I think the mass system does exist in Attila, but it's less visible. Each unit has its own mass statistic and sometimes in battles you can actually see soldiers being pushed slowly by numericaly superior enemy. The problem is it looks quite ugly (the infamous "sliding" of soldiers) and indeed it is the problem with the engine itself. Making the collision area bigger for each solder could solve this, but on the other hand it f*cks up the formations and AI pathfinding in general.
Now 2 questions:
1st and most important, Could you possibly, if you wanted, insert more kill animations to you mod, since de standard ones are few?
2nd, but less likely; this mod as it is, resembles Medieval II. But the only game with a MASS SYSTEM, in which soldiers with bigger mass push other ones, ONLY exists in rome 1. It's not possible to mimic that in the Attila engine, is it?
Such features are already in-game iirc.
Also, I do not want to mix too much things into one mod because it may cause bigger issues with other mods.
@Jaz
It doesn't affect the battle duration significantly, they may appear just a little bit slower perhaps.
