Question: I started a map using this large needs mod. Since then i've expanded it to roughly twice the size of a large map. To make it play normally, should change the timescale on a save game to .25, and then multiply your 'large needs' by 2? (or alternately use your needs for slow time on small map mutator?)
Also, is there any way using cheats or save game to reset prisoner needs, or do i have to use a mod to remove all prisoners and then refill it using the game's "fill to capacity" mechanic?

@Equipmonk Library Shelf issues occured with The Slammer and got fixed in hotfix 1.01 or 1.02.

Just verified, this mod is not affected by the Slammer update. It only changes the timers of the Needs and doesn't touch need providers like bookshelves at all. If you have problems with books, then another mod is interfering, not this one.

if you want to make it permanent, you could overwrite the base game files, but that's a really bad idea. In any case I don't think this is working properly anymore.

The needs timers for the game are set for small maps only. So whenever you start a medium or large map and you want to have all needs in sync with the slower time running on that map, you will need one of these mods. It's a motherbug in the game first reported during Alpha 28.
Actually I can't understand why these mods weren't made by other modders way back in time.

I think you will need to start a new prison or remove all prisoners from your current one, so the new prisoners get their updated needs timer values. Or perhaps those timers already get updated on old prisoners as well. But I'm not sure, you'd need to compare the entries of the prisoners in the saved game before and after the mod got activated to be able to tell.

On a large map time goes slower than on a small map. This mod adjusts the timers for all needs to prevent shower riots in the mornings, see bug http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=7301
