Please someone, i want my space angel <3
Thank you for posting this!
The only other explanation I have for what you are witnessing is that perhaps you have your own custom species made with that R27 portrait in the main menu and it was spawned into your game. Beyond that I am afraid as I cannot replicate the issue, I cannot fix it. Sorry
The Species is a R27 Biological. It is a being with bubbles or little lights rising around it.
@johnthepatriot - I think I have randomization for them turned off so that I would not have to worry about my custom races having duplicates with random traits
Although I want to ask, would it be possible for you to make a seperate mod that also includes the traits? Specifically, I loved the Zeriphen and Hollow mods, not only for their epic portraits but also for their unique playstyle.
This is with only this mod enabled and nothing else. Maybe I'll look into it tomorrow and try to find out what exactly causes this, if I do find out I'll make a patch and pull request on github. I don't know if I will have the time for this though, so you should look into that yourself, if you can reproduce the bug.
- If Lithoid DLC is not available, Lithoid portraits appear in a separate section as a biological species just as they have so far
- If Lithoid DLC is available, the Lithoid portraits appear in a separate section as Lithoid species. The same portraits will ALSO appear under BioFake category for those who want to use the portraits with Biological species
- Renamed BioMech section to BioFake as they now contain biological versions of Mechanical AND Lithoid species portraits
- BugFix: One could make an invalid mixed empire. Bio Ethics with machine pops, which leads to very unbalanced starting conditions (negative monthly credits, etc).
People on the latest version of Stellaris should have no warning at all any more.
This mod is mainly intended for crafting custom empires for the user and the AI which you would always recognize in your games. If the portraits were also used for random species generation, it would result in empires which use the same portraits as your custom empire - but with different personality and traits. So - to keep the experience with your custom empires consistent, the use of random species generation is disabled.
I will check out the mod you recommended as soon as I can

There is a bug with the Plantoid DLC potrait that came with Ancient Relics "pla16_baol". Its missing. Do you really need the 01_base_species_classes.txt file? If you remove this file from your mod I think this bug is already fixed.
Also, here is the german localisation for r27_portraits_l_german.yml:
R27_normal_class:0 "R27 Biologisch"
R27_silicoid_class:0 "R27 Silicoid"
R27_infested_class:0 "R27 Infizierend"
R27_robot_class:0 "R27 Maschine"
R27_robot_bio_class:0 "R27 BioMaschine"
Thats for now. Do you have mod source at GitHub? Contribution would be easier then. I have some more little things that need to be fixed... :)
