It seems like the specific issue was with a rework in meals leading to "aweful" meal defs being deleted. I fixed that specific issue, but I'm not playing currently and don't know if the mod will otherwise cause weirdities with changes that have been made.

If there's anything gamebreaking or odd, let me know here and I'll try to fix.

That really inspired me to see what I needed to update the compatibility. It's late and I only did light testing, but it should be compatible with 1.1 now. I'm glad you enjoy my mod :)

really missing one component of this mod in my DLC game - the devilstrand to neutroamine part! i can't find any other mods that add this and it really adds a fantastic additional use for devilstrand.

The armor simply applies wood colouration to the simple helmet and flak vest. There's no custom sprite for it as that's a bit beyond my artistic ability.

I double checked what's up with that. The cake recipe takes any egg from the FertilizedEgg or UnfertilizedEgg categories. The problem is VG never gave their egg a category.

I can't make the cake recipe take any uncategorized item from another mod without making it dependant on that mod or implementing some complex dependencies that I'd rather avoid maintaining unfortunately.

VG could categorize their egg as UnfertilizedEgg, but then it would pop into that sub folder and they might not want that.

Hey shrclma, I took a look in a game that just had my mod and core loaded and this is what I find in the stockpile: https://i.imgur.com/rygxnSf.png Bowl of Gruel is found under the meals sub tab.

Did you add this mod to an existing game? I'd try making a new stockpile if so to see if it's there, that works for getting drug permissions for the tea/painkillers I add. Let me know and I'll try to help debug further.

The mod's tagged as 1.0, but does it work with the final 1.0 build currently on the unstable branch? I just want to avoid old tags on mods causing problems for players.

I agree that flour should be processed more efficiently somewhere, but I don't think just throwing it on to stoves would really make a lot of sense. I was thinking of implementing a grinding stone and industrial grinder to do the job but hadn't gotten the time recently.

Maybe add flour production to another table such as stove? Now it's the only recipe I have to have crafting spot for.

@XplosiveAsh That would be strange, I don't touch or modify either of those in this mod. I double checked on a new game and on an old saved game and I can't replicate it with nothing but the steam release of the mod loaded.

Not sure what's up with your game, but it shouldn't be this mod.

Great mod, but one quick problem, it seems to cause the textures of chocolate and insect jelly to become glitched out, causing them to simply be replaced with a "NULL" texture. (just a thing that may want to be fixed soon)

In case you're curious: Joy food items are rated as desperate only food category so colonists will avoid eating joy items if at all possible for nutrition (basically same rating as raw meat/vegetables). Jerky is rated as a neutral quality meal, so they'll prefer it as food.

What was missing was a tag indicating that it's ok to eat those items as a joy giver without player orders. So they should include them now in their joy activities. I didn't realize they were eating the meals out of hunger instead of joy when I was testing it I'd guess.

Really great mod, but colonists don't seem interested in cookies, muffins or cake. I had all three and they just gorged themselves on jerky. It isn't throwing an error, though, and they can eat it normally if I force them to.

@Roughtymes I double checked for you. The current release does have makeshift helmets tagged properly. I checked new game, save with recent badditions content, and a pre-badditions save and it showed up in all 3. It shows up for me under apparel>headwear like the other helmets

I did get that patched just this morning though, is it possible you haven't updated the mod since the patch? It went through ~11 hours ago.

Like the mod however I don't see the makshift helmet on list for stockpiles. Armor is there but not the helmet.

Alright, the case of the british insomniacs has been put to rest. Healroot and Painkiller addiction traits have been untangled, and both are relieved by their appropriate drug. Thank you midnight for the bug fix, got to it as soon as I saw the message.

Did an emergency patch for you. Painkiller addiction causing zero sleep is fixed, and healroot tea has its own addiction set now so there shouldn't be painkiller addicts becoming excessively british. I'll do a more thorough check on it, but it should be fixed now. Thanks for letting me know.

Oh god that's an unintended effect. Healroot tea was given a drug category of painkiller intending that addicted people would get less benefit. I'll remove it for now which should stop them binging healroot tea.

However the "never needs sleep" bit I don't understand off hand. I'll roll out a quick patch to remove healroot being related to painkillers and see what I can do to fix the unsleeping bit which is definitely not intended.

i can't figure out how and why the healroot tea works on painkiller needs but painkiller itself doesn't work
