Does this mod not remove "pine"? I mean the woods in the base game are mostly pines, having it as a separate resource is just madness.

Although, using the same fix for the Coral / Reef issue below seems to resolve the Rubber Tree / Lumber Mill issue too.

These are interesting changes but your bias against potatoes is unwarranted. Mashed Potatoes, Shepherds Pie, French Fries, Potato Pancakes, Potato Wedges, Baked Potatoes, Scalloped Potatoes, Hash Browns, Potato Chowder, Potato Salad and all the variations of these dishes plus the other dishes with potatoes I didn't get to. Potatoes are a staple starch and you could throw sweet potatoes in there if you don't mind mixing your apples and oranges. :) Potatoes j/s. Your mod is very well done for those who do want to trim things down.

@Oh yeah: Fix is this:
Open NEWImprovements.xml in the Resourceful 2 directory (it will be under Steam/SteamApps/workshop/content/289070/1369684991).
Find the line in the <Improvement_ValidResources> section that says:
<Row ImprovementType="IMPROVEMENT_FISHING_BOATS" ResourceType="RESOURCE_CORAL"/>

Change it to read:
<Row ImprovementType="IMPROVEMENT_FISHING_BOATS" ResourceType="RESOURCE_CORAL" MustRemoveFeature="false"/>

You'll be able to improve Coral on Reefs again.

For me it works with GS and I have corals too, but I had to add a segment of code from Resourceful Rebalanced to get them. I would check out that mod if I were you.

Loading this mod with Resourceful 2 and Enable Gold is breaking my games when I start them new. Yet using Resourceful 2 with Enable Gold seems to work fine. Is there anything I can do?

If I had to guess it might be Detailed Worlds. It may not work with with added resources. The only way to know is to test each mod individually.

Went through all my mods and it was Lime's Ottoman Empire that caused the crash. It has nothing to do with this mod since other people have reported the same errors for it.

@Kenraali that's usually caused by a loading order problem. It might be a conflict that only occurs when you load a saved game. I would need to see the logs to determine the conflict.

For some reason when I have this mod enabled (and I know it's the culprit) the game doesn't start, just kicks me back to the main menu with an error code.

Any news on fixing the coral bug (they cannot be improved with fishing boat)
I love your mod, but it annoy me when my awesome Indonesia cannot get all of those corals on reefs ^^

It's clear this guy Amatheria is overreacting to something that requires no reaction from him at all. You did everything right, you credited him, your changes need his mod to function, and you even said you love the amazing mod. I was under the understanding that all game mods belong to the game developer anyway since they use game code to work in the game. It's too bad some people have to throw sand in the sandbox. Hopefully, Steam makes the right decision about this situation and allows your mod to stay up. Anyone can see you didn't just copy and share someone else's work. Also, I agree with you on many points about the original you stated above.

It's just one simple xml file of data that overwrites a few things in Resourceful 2. Nothing is copied.

This mod does depend on Resourceful 2. I did not steal your work. All I did was make some changes. I didn't copy anything. I will credit you.

If you want to change some parameters, you can modify the file NewRes.xml and add it to a thread in Resourceful 2 Steam page or make a mod which depends on Resourceful 2 but overwrites that file. Both ways can give credit to my work and add your own parameters. This is just stealing my work.

In testing without other mods enabled beyond Resourceful 2 and this one, I can confirm that Coral on reefs cannot be improved with a fishing boat (or otherwise) even though Fish and Turtles on reefs can be improved with fishing boats. It seems that getting a resource to appear on reefs and allowing it to be improved when it appears on a reef are two different things, which also explains the custom maps I've played with unimprovable pearls on reefs.

To fix this, I think you will need to specifically set the requirement to remove a feature before improving Coral to false, just as Turtles and Fish are in the Rise and Fall files. I would guess that reefs are counted as features within the game files.

Beyond that minor problem, though, great work on this mod!

Fishing boats can be built on reefs. Fish and Turtles can appear on reefs in the base game.

One oversight I've seen is you can no longer build workboats on coral as since it only now appears on reef.
