The battle won't load when I use this mod, but it loads fine after I unsubscribe. It's the only mod installed, yet it still doesn't work. help

Perhaps to someone with the technical knowledge: How come it seem that animations-mods like this lead to missing textures (body parts, weapons, shields and so on)? Or am I mistaken?

to all those people saying this mod doesn't work, please try reorder your mods. Or just put this mod at the very top to make sure it overwrites any other.

I have had this mod for almost 3 years along with DEI, it has always worked, and very obviously, because I don't have another animation mod to conflict with it.

What's the order for this mod to work?

there are to many 1v1s that break formation and take to long sometimes though.

as long as this is at top of load list it works still with dei and cinematic kill animation overhaul

bro, you made an excellent mod, but you should go back to the old animations of the units without shield against the units with shield, they were very brutal, the legionnaires defeating simple peasants

where should i put this in my load order?

animations are cool but fights became much faster, 3rd of troops dying on charge impact already and start killing each other fast. I think need to slow down fights a bit. Before i do anything fights becomes already over

Update for dei plz

one sword man animations replaced with one sword shield animation and and the same happend with spears. Can you fix this? They fight like having shields but they actually don't have.

I don't think this mod work with DEI anymore.

DEI has its own animation + value.
This mod last updated since Fed 2019 and DEI has been updated by then.

there is a problem with cavalry , their dying animation is buggy , they die and come back on horse.. and then there is supposed corpse that look like they are on horse??

Wow, The interwebz sometimes... The mod works great, it doesn't destroy formations, or whatever that other person is trying to say. Just changes up some percentages for animations to pop, and prevents the constant reuse of animations. It's the best animation mod for Rome2 right now, so get it!

I'm not really noticing any changes to combat kill animations - 95% of the deaths are still cattle prod / heart attacks. Or maybe I'm misunderstanding what the mod does?

Ya i think problem is some animations impact the formation and it becomes very loose during the battle. I play DEI and I think I prefer to stick with their animations as they are pretty good and have keep unit formations, (but if u want to play vanilla the trade off is animation vs formations staying together) the more you have solo animations take over it tends to do this.

you have to keep in mind formation combat was not like 1 vs 1 gladiator style combat in a battle, they fought as a unit (esp disciplined factions like romans)

Thanks for the effort, but there is no animation mod that works well, this particular mod I keep because it looks better blood but I don't see any great animation, everything is quite flat, most are outdated and I guess it's hard to keep

It seems to slow the performance down in bigger fights. It's still the best variety of animations so we will have to find someone to update it. Petro hopefully will comeback soon. For now cinematic kills mod is your best bet.
