There are some servers, both PvP and Coop, but theyre not very active.

There isnt any plans for a dedicated steam page, as its a complicated process where several parties would have to be involved in discussions, not just the mod team.

Two questions here, are there currently servers for this mod and are you guys planning a separate mod page ala the Company of Heroes mods that are available on Steam?

There is an update in the works, but after that we're unsure. Making our own title is out of the question as we're all hobbyists and would rather keep it that way.

so i know the games pretty dead, but if you guys start thinking about stopping the production of this mod and the maps, maybe think about making this mod series an ACTUAL GAME. people have done it before, and if you guys put more effort into this game than most big game devs, than you should absolutly make it a game! if you do, or even consider, yall have my complete support! keep up the good work!

Passchendaele, is such an surreal place to fight in. i recommend use cl_ragdoll_maxcount to see how f*ck up war can be.

Yes, you can play it in practice mode. And of course theres new content, its a total conversion mod set in a completely different war.

can you play screaming steel in practice mode? also, does it add anything new (like guns, skins, etc)

The mod isnt supposed to override vanilla stuff, so its working correctly.
On the WS page for the main mod files you can find instructions for creating or joining matches running the mod.

I subscribed to everything on the collection, but when I launch DOI it's still vanilla. What am I doing wrong?

Sorry, as stated in our FAQ there arent any additional factions planned at the moment simply due to the workload involved.

I am in love with this mod. It is one of my favorites of all time right now. Please, everyone, show this to everyone you know who may be interested in not only a WW1 game, but an intense tactical shooter. This seriously makes Insurgency and Day of Infamy look like day care. I hope that a standalone may some day come with it. I have faith in you developers! Amazing work!

If I may suggest something:
I'm sure you thought about adding the French, which would require lots of original voicework, modelling, and class weapons. But honestly, I just really want to see your guys' rendition of the Battle of Verdun and see the Lebel Model 1886 and Chauchat in action (in actual action, not jamming every 3 shots, haha), not to mention my favorite weapon: the Mauser C96, especially the carbine variant. If uh, you wanted to suspend disbelief just a tiny bit...
