3) If you want your mod to be more popular, then I recommend renaming it to something similar to "Encamp: abush defense stanse + 100%"

I think it's the same yes, there's a tickbox like "Do standard stance trigger ambushes" for each faction, and it's ticked for skavens and alith anar.
I'm quite satisfied with the change, I'll mark this mod as obsolete and make another one if I want to make other changes about ambushes.
This does not affect the Beastman equivalent
Various stances will now affect Ambush Defence Chance
Forced March: -25%
Besieging: +100%
Underway/Worldroots/Beastpaths: +25%
Encampment Stance: +75%
so.. does NOT effect alithanar or beastmen 'ambush on attack' penalty... Might be worth you keeping the mod around with +25% more on encamp? (or keeping the flat 100%)
Either way, thats close enough to 100% in encamp for my take.
Can someone onfirm that they added it to both encamp and siege stance ? And which values they have used.
If they added it only to siege camps I'll edit this mod to work with encamp stances only. If they cover everything I modified, I'll mark it as obsolete.
CA's launcher is still bad and can randomly break mods.
Use the Kaedrin Mod Manager [github.com] instead.
Steps to try: load ONLY this mod, create a new campaign, see if encamping tooltip displays the +100% ambush defence chance.
If that works....
.. Then obviously the mod is loading fine, and something else must be occuring.
If it DOESNT work, then try unsubscribing and resubscribing... and maybe a steam verify integrity.

If you want a rule of thumb : moving existing effects anywhere is simple (like here, when I saw the ambush defense chance on Lizardmen stance, I simply pasted it on all other camp stances)
On the other hand creating entirely new ones takes more work or is impossible due to TW engine. And AFAIK there isn't any way of preventing lightning strikes in the base game with a skill or whatnot.
I'll patch it next time I play TWWH.
About the other comments, I'll look at the underground stances.

But that would also applies to bots, and would reduce any action success chance against the whole army (assassinate, wound, but also damage units and reduce movement range).

I'm fairly sure there's mods that prevents bots from doing attack ambushes. If that (crappy) mechanic annoy you, you can simply remove it from the game.

I'm not playing TWWH right now, but I'll update that in 1-2 weeks.
And 50% defense is almost the same as 100%. If any "ambush attacker" has 30% ambush chance, then 30% defense will completely counter it. And bots very rarely go over 50% ambush attack chance.
Or should I combo this mod with a mod that allows encamp at 0% movement for dwarves.
