I love it, thank you

Issue fixed. You must enable the pack before this asset otherwise it'll conflict with some other mods. Especially "Plop Town Buildings" from what I've noticed and tested.

'vehicle/train/general/lod_0_w3.msh' does not exist' is caused when enabling the Plop Town Buildings mod. I am currently trying to rectify this issue with loading orders otherwise it is incompatible.

I donloaded this mod not that long ago and the smoke coming out of the smoke stack is a little off, anyway you can fix it? other than that, nice mod!

I will say that your model is really good looking, but it kinda lacks in the performance department. I find that trains with "The General" and 5 box cars hooked have a better hp/ton rating than the mogul. Also, I'm not 100% sure but I think theres something up with the tender. It doesnt seem to turn on the tracks, instead it just stays at a fixed flat angle to the engine. Again, very good looking model but it needs a few tweeks

What mod did you use for the tracks and walls in the second picture?

You can change the order in a save game. If you are still having issues with the mods, try loading a new game with just these two mods enabled to check whats causing the crash.

There may be another mod that is not mine causing the error. My mods use Vanilla components and your error: 'vehicle/train/general/lod_0_w3.msh' does not exist' is looking for a Vanilla mesh. I see no reason why a vanilla mesh does not exist.

Hm... Maybe I'm doing it wrong. Is it possible to fix an already started game or must I make a new one? The only place I find where to enable mods are in Free game>>Advanced. Is that where I should fix the order?

Make sure this mod is loaded AFTER the US Variety Pack in the load order.

I downloaded this one to fix the crash below, but I still get it when trying to load my game. What to do?

"File: vehicle/train/260_old.mdl

railVehicle/configs/axles: mesh 'vehicle/train/general/lod_0_w3.msh' does not exist"

Many thanks.
Saw your early rail pack. Will make 1850's start interesting.

No probs, I'll poke out an update (until 1890 most likely)
metropolis 11 Aug, 2018 @ 11:17pm
Your mdl has this as available 1865-1868. Surely this is a bit short lived at 3 years. While the vanilla Baldwin 2-8-0 has appeared isn't there there still a use for it at least until the later Mogul arrives?
I could alter the .mdl but I thought I should check first.

Smoke is abit ahead of the smoke stack, otherwise it's a great mod!

Killed my save. There is an error message:

File: vehicle/train/260_old.mdl

railVehicle/configs/axles: mesh 'vehicle/train/general/lod_0_w3.msh' does not exist
Steve Emfore  [author] 6 Aug, 2018 @ 10:51am
I'll see if I can update it
Rafn 5 Aug, 2018 @ 6:57pm
Works great - no crashes any more :) One small thing I noticed however, is that the smoke from the smokestack is too far forward.
Sieger95 4 Aug, 2018 @ 12:19pm
how fast can it go ( in KPH)
Steve Emfore  [author] 4 Aug, 2018 @ 12:37am
I have published a fix, it appears I left some legacy files from my 6-2-0 mod in there, explains why it only worked when the 6-2-0 was active.
Nails Nathan 3 Aug, 2018 @ 6:32pm
It also crashes my game, when active.
SteeleWulf 3 Aug, 2018 @ 5:23pm
Also this crashes my game when its active so I dont know whats going on there.

I am also curious as to how you create that type of track in the second screenshot
A Guy Called Pi 3 Aug, 2018 @ 8:59am
It's an attractive early game locomotive in terms of looks as well as specifications. Thanks!
n.chiri 3 Aug, 2018 @ 7:45am
I have to ask: how you created that type of track in the second screenshot?
