Yes, that video is likely from before CA updated the empire themselves.

thank you for such a fast reply mate. Well, I found a video that recommended using your mod for the all Empire campaigns, seems like that video is a bit outdated.

You'll be waiting a long time.

CA literally added the mechanic this from this mod (loyalty that gives confederation when maxed) to the game. That makes the mod pretty redundant.

If I ever revive the mod it will be as content for CA's system, but I don't have plans to do that right now.

I am on hiatus from modding. The content in this mod has been offered to other modders if they want it, but anyway I don't currently plan on working on the mod.

When I started this mod I was building something new for the Empire, a culture mechanic from scratch. Now, I think the mod would end up with a very different purpose, structure, and technical setup if it were to be rebuilt, and I'm not as interested in modifying CA's own mechanic as I was in creating something new.

(And no, I don't intend to take any of my work off of the workshop. Some things will be changing owners as some kind modders have agreed to continue maintaining my work, but I'm avoiding taking anything down.)

I heard Xou and Willemsen want too change some of their empire mods, so they'll have too become depended on Mixu's unlocker.

How likely is it that will get a unlocker compatible version of this mod, so we can experience the ultimate Empire campaign, with your incredible mod and theirs?

i'd really like to see the ability to either legalize necomancers in the empire allowing them as heroes

I think i'd be also cool for the vampires to have some signifigant interaction with the empire like somehow being able to slowly subvert/turn the elector counts

Good evening Drunk,

With your mod now sort of implemented in the game, but with only a few events and dilemma's, would you consider making a mod with expands the now existing elector system?
Like with the dilemma's you have, the unique event chains, the cults and potential counts.
Your mod stays the best to flesh out the empire, but now maybe as an add on or expansion.

This mod needs to fix the current fealty system because it is fucking dreadful as it stands. Spend any significant amount of time and you will soon exhaust the like 5 different events they have and become rapidly burnt out on it. When this updates, please god, fix fealty. (A special thank-you to CA for being completely unable to release a product that doesnt have to be fixed by the community to be enjoyable)

Yea man I really miss this mod, I sometimes come back just to see if this mod is updated. Do you plan on updating this mod at all or have you put it on the wayyyyyy back burner. I figured with all the attention I see it getting in the comments you would make it a priority this mod adds sooo much more immersion to the Empire faction for real its a must have mod for the Empire in my opinion.

This reminds of the first Total War Romes system with the Roman Empire. I don't know why, CA has failed to implement fun, complex, and intriguing systems of gameplay/government like this to improve both lore, and for uniqueness for factions.

This is what CA should have done. They need to make factions more united and more fun to play. High Elves should have somthing similar, then Bretonnia should have a Feudal Vassal system. At least for the factions that make sense.

Updating grail quests and greentide and the book of grudges scripts for Grimmhammer, the Shieldwall Overhaul for Thrones, something else small-ish that I’m not ready to talk about yet, and several of my other existing mods which need attention. Loreful empires in particular needs essentially rethinking since the patch changed the entire mechanics of faction autoresolve balance.

Oh, and also the full time job ;P that project takes up far too much time.

The mod will stay up for people’s interest in the meantime but I doubt I will get to this mod until more of my other projects are looking finished.

Empire of Man is not currently a priority. My development time is limited and required for other mods right now. I cannot restore the mod to functionality in its current form without significant work building a startpos that would be wasted if I then went and changed those elements.

What is currently not functional about this mod? I'm using it now and it seems to be working fine, turn 58, but I'd like to know before I really get to far in too this campaign just to have something bug out

I have a feeling, that the mod doesn't crash anymore, but that it also stops after turn 55.
For example.
I get the option to 'join confederation' with Wisseland. Bit strange, because it shouldn't because of this mod.
I still use the option, and every turn after i get the message to re-elect the elector count of wisseland.
Also, around turn 50-60, after/during the fourth vampire war, you get the option to make von carstein a elector count. But nothing happend when i chose to do so.
