The mp5 in l4d2 is the only gun that has a 22050 kHz firing sound as opposed to 44100 for virtually everything else. I've found that it is better to make an mp5 mod with silencer so that the drop in sound quality is not as noticeable.

i always wonder 1 thing that why mp5's fire sound always sounds like low quality, i also tried to make it a better sound but it got worse

Absolutely fantastic addon, the animation is great and the model looks veeeery pretty
Only thing holding me back from regularly using it is the shove animation, but overall, great job!

I even googled it myself to see if googling actually works.

You need to put the VPK files in your "addons" folder. Where to find it is another story, if you're not sure, you're better off using a guide.

This is one of my favorite MP5 mods,but the only tiny problem is when AI teammates reload, the mag is not in their hands.It's not a big issue,but only a little bit weird! So Could you fix that??many thanks,because I really really love your work.

Hi sorry for the confusion its because many "mac"mods i come across are constantly named "smg" in either title or description whilst uzi is a bit more easier to find under its own name. No worries btw i was just wondering if you had this mod ported already as couldn't find it on gamemaps.

@LunaRabbit, first, Uzi is the "SMG"; the Silenced one is commonly shortened to "S-SMG". Second, there's no scoped variant for either yet. But as I'm updating and fixing my mods these days, I'll eventually get to this one and make such an option.

@Doge, I have to include a script because the CS:S guns use mirrored animations by default and they need to be un-mirrored. As such there's no reason not to include a HUD icon or a little stat change.

@Sonne, I just wanted people to appreciate that I successfully datamined the cut scope. Also, there's little need of all these rails when you're not using any. But, naturally, I will release a "pure" and/or normal SMGs version(s) on Gamemaps soon.

@Moon Moon, if you want, just repack the .vpk and change the clip_size back to 50. If you want to use a custom script with it, keep in mind that replacing the script will make you lose the HUD icon and flip the viewmodel, so watch out for that.
