Hi there All,

Sincere apologies for not updating all of my mods in such a long time. Life stuff got in the way, and when I did have some free time, I just didn't want to go back to this stuff as a quick read made it seem like it was going to be a pain to fix. Finally in a bit of a better head space, and with Wreckfest 2 coming out soon, figured these PROBABLY won't break again, so I looked into it, and it turned out to be a relatively easy fix. I went ahead and updated all of my track mods. At least for Wild West Motorsports Park and the Loop of Death version of Stockton 99, the devs added some tracks that essentially did the same thing (and in WWMP's case, literally the same track, haha), so you weren't missing much with my stuff being gone, but now Ukiah and Petaluma are back and playable too, which is nice for folks that like the small ovals.

love this track but for some reason it messes my game up all cars go muddy at the start of the race on any track when this mod is enabled ???

Just wished to report that I tried to see if this mod still worked. I did the long run-around loop that takes you into the pits.

It did still work for ~1 lap, but once I hit the turn 1 wall, it broke apart & my game crashed.

this mod makes all vehicles dusty about 1-2 seconds into racing on all tracks [vanilla & other mods], been this way since vehicle dirt was officially added

When I was testing it I thought they were more slippery then I remember them being. Must have been due to the surfacelist being updated, they might have tweaked some of the surface properties. Didn't seem too big of a deal when I was testing, and I personally like it more slippery (I actually had intended them to be slicker when I was making them). If it becomes an issue I can possibly look at changing the surface type to something less slick though.

Awesome, glad to hear it! For others, as noted in the track description, to resolve all missing texture problems for all 4 of my mods/tracks, you will probably need to have all of them installed, as the texture file paths in my other 3 tracks (Ukiah, Stockton, Wild West) refer to textures I included in the Petaluma mod. So if you're still seeing pink textures, try making sure all of my tracks are downloaded.

Went and re-checked textures. Think i managed to fix every missing one on these tracks (it's a PAIN to do so manually, so it may take me a bit to get to my other tracks).

Updated the track, so it hopefully will now work with the latest update. Should no longer have issues loading, and shouldn't break vanilla tracks. I've only checked to see if it works with my mods, so no promises that it won't break when other mods are installed. Some missing textures still, but not sure if/when I'll get to those.

@The_Imperfectionist (re-posting this from the other track) Is it the graveldark error? If so, it seems to be an issue with a conflict with my tracks (or some of them at least?) and The Very Trackpack. TVE (author of that pack) has said he'd be working on a hotfix earlier today, so that might fix it. In the mean time, I've asked him if there's anything I should change on my end to get it to work (from what I recall when working on these, my tracks shouldn't have texture conflicts, but I also didn't really know what I was doing, so who knows, haha).

The tracks show up, but causes missing texture errors when I play any track with this mod installed.

@crimsonregency That's super odd. I just tried the game myself, and my tracks still showed up. It doesn't look like I'm missing an update either. Did you maybe install another mod recently? Maybe it overwrote some files or something? My suggestion would be to maybe uninstall, then reinstall my mods through the workshop, see if that helps. I'll try to find some time to investigate a bit this weekend, see if others are having the same issue.

None of your tracks are showing up in the game anymore, they had previously and were awesome. They still show up in the mod screen and can be enabled and disabled, but nothing shows up in the actual game either way.

It's funny how I use to live there and this track is exactly like it! except the cars don't fly over the wall on turn 2 but other than that its Great.

I really recommend using the 3/8 mile dirt oval with Phoenix Invasion mod, or nascar legends mod, or both!! Really great action it's a brilliant little track great work :)

Stockton 99 Speedway is finished! Check out my submitted items or search for it and download it if you'd like! I think this is my best looking track so far, and I also had a bit of fun with a few of the variants (a loop de loop, anyone?!), so check it out!

Hah, that was actually one of my motivations to try and get it done quicker. I was going to add some GB easter eggs too, but decided against it at the last minute. I have some stuff that I made when I sent them some stuff that I might add to it in a later version.

Ayyy! As noted in the comments of my Ukiah track, Petaluma is my home track too :). Only reason I didn't do it first is because I had an almost complete version of Ukiah done for rFactor 2. I definitely have started to look at vehicle modding, because I'd love a sprint car myself. At the moment though, it seems way more complicated and would take more time than I'd like to spend on it, but who knows. I was thinking about possibly doing Calistoga, as although I haven't been there, from what I understand it's fairly flat. I also played with the idea of doing the Santa Rosa Fairgrounds horse racing track (and then using the Chris Beck Arena for demo derby stuff), but that's so much work I'm not sure where I'd start. Working on Stockton 99 right now, then might try my hand at some off road tracks.

Alright, with help from Purple44 and The Very End, I was able to get an alternate route working on Double Banked Blitz. It's not perfect, and occasionally AI will get stuck, but they should now take both routes, and I adjusted the actual geometry a bit to help them get going again if they get pushed up against the wall. Hopefully it works out as intended.

I really like the "Pit Road Panic", reminds of the courses LOORS and TORC usually race on. I hope you go on and build new tracks, I'd love to see some stadium offroad racing (remember MTEG Stadium Offroad Racing?), I'm sure you'd do one Hell of a job!

Aye, as noted above, currently they only take the outside line, due to my inability to get the split path working. It works well enough with human players, but yeah, it's a bit easy to bypass all the AI if that's all you've got to work with. However! Thanks to some help from The Very End and Purple44 on the Bugbear community forums, they have some good ideas on how I can get it to work. Hopefully I can figure it out soon and I'll update the track with a better working version if I can.

I really like the Double Bank Blitz map, I love variations on figure 8's and ovals. One note about it though is that A.I cars rarely (if at all) take the inside turn when the track splits into two. What ends up happening is I am completely safe taking the inside while the A.I cars get completely smushed on the outside. Probably A.I pathing related but otherwise a fun track.
