Unfortunately you can't, this mod only works with AB+. In Repentance you need no mods to change your laser color though, that's why I decided to not "port" the mod.

Repentance already changes the laser color upon picking up tear modifiers. By updating this mod for Repentance, the people who still have AB+ (wich doesn't change the laser colors) won't be able to use the mod

I have no idea why that happened since this mod only changes one specific varible and "tells" the game that it changed. That being said, try deactivating other mods that has a file called "items.xml" or reinstall the mod
