only have two mods, this and the script. load order 1 > script 2 > this mod. Is it save game compatible? if so, is there a way to trigger it asking me to change the capital?

it doesnt work for me :(

i have this mod and Skidvar`s Vanilla Scripts enabled but if i move my leader to any town i dont get a dilemma ...

i am playing sparta in normal campaign, gameis on recent patch version

i noticed an incompatibility either with this mod or the vanilla scripts mod... it conflicts with sanitation ++ and neither system can coexist with each other

Yo bok, custom_dilemma? If you're asking so you know how to do the "dilemma"... Well got bad news. It's all code.

scripting.game_interface:trigger_custom_dilemma(character:faction():name(), "move_capital_greek", "payload { set_capital "..character:region():name().."; money -5000; }", "", true)

The payload is defined like that.

First option sets capital, and removes 5k cash. Second option does nothing.

You just have to create the dilemma on the dilemma tables and the options on the cdir_events_dilemma_choice_details

So the mod does not work. I am guessing the others that go with it to also not working. I only have your mods active and go with my king to new city and does not give me option to change capital for 5k. :steamsad:

The imperium level makes sense. Good thinking and that should be reasonably simple to do, I suppose

Skidvar, I think it should depend on Imperium level, say 2000 per Imperium level. Meaning if you're up to 5\6 you'd be payin 10 - 12k to change capital.

I also wish there'd be a public order\corruption debuff the further away a region was from your capital. I'm just not sure how practical it is to implement.

I might have to build a distance to capital array with all provinces. And then populate it when capital changes or on loading a game. Then run through the players' owned regions and apply the effect to the province. How to tell distance to capital is the issue. All regions neighbouring the capital get a distance of 1. Then all regions neighbouring the 1's and not neighbouring the cap get a 2, and then all regions neighbouring a 2 but not a 1 nor the cap get a 3, and so on. hmm... might actually do it after all.

Thanks mate! I've gonne ahead and added compatibility will your scripts. I implemented the capital script fully as i might change it in the future.

What price did you have in mind if I may be curious? It's been way too long for me, but now that I think about it, you could allow different events to trigger depending on how many regions you own, for instance.

I also didn't even think about letting it trigger only for province capitals. Think that makes sense, indeed.

Btw, I had a look at your mod also and it looks nice.

I like the idea of making it compatible. I will have a look at simply integrating your hub!

Tough I might want to make changes to your script like only allowing the trigger in province capitals or changing the price. As long as you're cool with it ofc.

Sure, Wolf, but the idea was to keep things modular as some people like this feature and others don't. That's why I made it part of 'Skidvar's Vanilla Scripts' so that players can select the options they like. So, why don't you implement the entire 'Skidvar's Vanilla Scripts' in your mod and have the features like 'Changing Capitals,' 'Random Personalities,' 'General Starting Ranks' all optional?

it did not work when Vanilla script mod before the change capitol mod, you need change order worked that way.

The mod says its updated, but it does not currently work. Vanilla scripts installed, moved faction leader to new city and had over 5000 in treasury, no dilemma triggered.

It's for if you start in a small settlement and you want a different one. Possibly also some consequences for trade possibilities... I always thought that at least, but I'm not 100% sure.

@ tya: Read the description: enter (or conquer and enter) a city with your faction leader and have 5000 gold. (make sure you have both mods enabled - so, also Vanilla Scripts)

yes skidvar i tried it out i like this mod allot and i use it for my vanilla campaings but yes did not work for these campaigns with 1100 ad mod
