An excellent map. Got it on my first try. You found the perfect ballance between easy and hard.

Love it. Map looks beautiful and the layout is very nice. Nothing too easy or too hard in it. Took me a good ~18 minutes to complete alone.

If I had a complaint it would be in the back garden of the house, sometimes coins will spawn up near the guard and civillian leaving you no choice but to struggle with an alerted melee guard, a machine gunner, and one that puts you to sleep.

I added the garden entrance after your first comment- you came back and played it again without noticing! Thanks for your offer of a campaign to work with, but I'm already collaborating on a campaign set in the USA. I might be able to throw a Parisian map in there though!

was the entrance from the garden always there or did you add it recently? Anyway, now the map feels well balanced to me. The overall difficutly is consistent and the rooms have a nice feeling.

Only minor complaint (and it's really minor) is that one of the stairs has red lighting which looks weird.

One of the first good maps out there!

btw, maybe you want to help out the campaign I was setting up. I'd love if you would contribute: http://forums.monacohideout.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=107

Great map! My only complaint is the guard in front of the entrance because his path is random.

Keep making maps, you're good :D

Great layout + lighting. The only thing I would suggest would be to add some more hard security, I find the alarms a bit too forgiving.

+1

yes, that's what i thought. I don't like it when secret passages do that. I think a secret passage shouldn't be used to give a huge advantage if found. They should give a minor advantage and the level should be more or less equally difficult to complete without. They are fun for speedrunning and if you discover them by accident and you can speed up your progress a little bit.

It depends on the level type (puzzle can be different), but I think you're aiming for the original Monaco style and then I don't think this is how it should be done.

There's an entrance through the bushes which you may have missed that bypasses that difficult security room- it goes down into the bottom garden and makes access to the backpacks a lot easier. I'll fix the coins in the civilians. Thanks for your playtesting!

Much better! I still find the entrance annoying, because you have to trigger an alarm or a civilian an you can't hide before someone is hitting you. But this time I played the rest of the map and that was quite fun. There were two civs that had coins under them that you couldn't reach (without the mole) so that should be fixed. Also I don't like it that you have the backpacks quite far away from the beginning. I have the feeling that I completed half of the floor before I even use items.

This is one of the few maps on the workshop that is actually enjoyable, so do some little tweaks for this map and then create a new map that's even better than this one :)

thanks for the input! I'll add another way to get in. I've also tweaked the entrance a bit to make it more managable.

It's almost impossible to get inside... No places to escape. It looks like a nice map, but I can't experience any fun on it in the current form.
