Epigamesh 23 JUN 2024 a las 13:31
@DerBK Thanks !
DerBK  [autor] 23 JUN 2024 a las 7:38
Yes, of course. You can use them as dependency or if you want to, you can pull the parts you need into your own mod. However you like.
Epigamesh 22 JUN 2024 a las 15:14
Seeing the description permissions, I suppose it would be OK if I used this mod as a dependency for a robotic raider faction I'm currently working on ? (I prefer at least to inform it, just in case. Also, I can take the opportunity, while I'm here, to say how awesome your mods are : ABA and this one have been in my modpack since the beginning, and I've had a lot of fun using them)
Enzo Matrix 17 SEP 2022 a las 13:11
Ah okay that explains why Titan axe did so much damage lol
DerBK  [autor] 17 SEP 2022 a las 12:31
The weapons used by the enemies in this mod are all derived from existing weaponry in the base game and share their damage values:

The Cryolator uses the Purifier Flamethrower damage values.
The Spark Rifle is the same the Sparks from Shen's DLC use.
The Titan Axe is the same the players use.
The Mag Pistol of the Cryo Priest is the same as the player pistols.

So that's where you'd have to change the values. Obviously that means that you can't nerf/buff the Titan Axe without also affecting the Hunter's Axe, for example.
Enzo Matrix 17 SEP 2022 a las 12:05
Can you add the enemy damage values so I can change their damage output?
DerBK  [autor] 12 JUN 2022 a las 11:21
No idea. Please ask around in the LWotC discussions how well it works with ABA.
Empire 12 JUN 2022 a las 11:19
The mod works with LWOTC
DerBK  [autor] 22 FEB 2022 a las 11:13
Hm, i have never seen that happen with Titans specifically. Was sniped by Vipers through walls before though.

My best guess: Just another one of XCOM's line of sight bugs and not actually related to the mod.
Ty 22 FEB 2022 a las 10:53
The Titan's apparently can attack you with their axe even without line of sight. One attacked my soldier through a wall from another room and I didn't have any way to attack back on the following turn.

Sorry for my brevity, although she is often the sister of talent, I just wanted to know about the compatibility of these mods as I did not notice during the game. Thank you.
DerBK  [autor] 26 DIC 2021 a las 7:24
LWOTC is a shorthand for Long War of the Chosen. I hope that helps.
solargus 26 DIC 2021 a las 6:44
LWOTC?

Im just gonna hate mr.derbk.
I know that was random and out of the blue, but...
Everything must be balance.

Just dropped in to say I love you and this mod both
DerBK  [autor] 11 ABR 2021 a las 9:11
Yep.
ElOhTeeBee 11 ABR 2021 a las 5:44
To be clear, to fix the ADVENT Titan health, you'd open the appropriate stats config and change the ADVENT_Titan_M*_Diff3 rows from 3/3/3 to 1/2/3?
Multiple Birds 1 SEP 2020 a las 15:57
I'll keep an eye on it, let you know if it happens again
DerBK  [autor] 1 SEP 2020 a las 15:49
If something was wrong there, it would be on the side of your Ranger/his Bladestorm. Units do not selectively have immunity to Bladestorm.

tl;dr: Not intended, also very very unlikely to be caused by this mod.
Multiple Birds 1 SEP 2020 a las 15:30
Titan didnt trigger my ranger's blademaster when he went in for his combo, is that intended?
DerBK  [autor] 20 MAY 2020 a las 8:57
In this case, since its just an ini change, a recompile wouldn't be necessary.
But for a small mod like this one, that'd only take a minute anyways.
Cypher10 20 MAY 2020 a las 8:19
Thanks for the response DerBK! Totally understand given the size of the SDK. I haven't tried publishing a mod yet, but in order to update a mod, you have to re-compile the whole thing? Steam workshop be updated to editing uploaded mods to update a small file like an ini! :D
DerBK  [autor] 20 MAY 2020 a las 6:14
Oh goddamnit :D

Well then. Guess Titans are missing 1 or 2 hitpoints then. No big deal, it's not like anyone noticed during the last 2 years :D

I am not going to mess around with the SDK and push an update just for that, though. Thanks for letting me know, if i ever end up getting back into modding and updating my mods, i'll put in the fix, but at this point i am reasonably sure it's not happening anymore.
Cypher10 19 MAY 2020 a las 22:41
Hello DerBK, thanks for the mod. I just wanted to mention that I noticed when looking in the Advent Titan's ini files for character stats, I found that the difficulty variations were all referring to "3," meaning that the HP changes only applied to legend.
DerBK  [autor] 14 MAR 2020 a las 5:09
Hm, no idea. Sounds like you might need to redownload the mod and/or let Steam check your Xcom2 files.
Burty1974 13 MAR 2020 a las 22:53
I seem to be having a problem and it's just now happening in the late game, whenever the cryo priest dies, the game crashes and I get an error message saying "Error detected attempting load of package: ZPerk_FrostBlastShot_AHW"
DerBK  [autor] 12 FEB 2020 a las 0:08
Yep. I don't do autopsies.
4rrakis 11 FEB 2020 a las 22:23
No, they drop vanilla corpses.
LightenedDark 11 FEB 2020 a las 20:14
No autopsy?
Tim_ 8 OCT 2019 a las 16:28
I just completed a WOTC campaign with 104 mods including this one. It all went well.
DerBK  [autor] 4 SEP 2019 a las 7:30
Well, in that case i assume you got other Spark mods stacking up with ABB.
Spymaster00 3 SEP 2019 a las 22:52
Odd, my sparks are asking for MECs as well as cores.
DerBK  [autor] 3 SEP 2019 a las 22:22
The Sparks got new perk trees with three columns in ABB. Also, the costs to build, upgade and equip them have been reduced to no longer use Eli Cores (But MEC wrecks instead). That should make them a bit more desirable and less costly than they are in vanilla. I do not have plans to do more for them, since i am personally really not all that interested in taking tin cans instead of soldiers on my missions. :>

I didn't change the costs for the Alien Hunter weapon upgrades because i didn't want to accidentally introduce any dependencies on DLC into the ABB mod. And i felt like the impact is so small, it's not worth doing its own ABB: DLC mod (similar to this one) for it.
Spymaster00 3 SEP 2019 a las 22:07
Are there any plans to make changes to the DLC weapons/classes to bring them into line with A Better Barracks? It's rather jarring to have sparks even weaker comparatively, plus the wierdness of not needing weapon fragments for the DLC weapons.
DerBK  [autor] 11 AGO 2019 a las 22:35
Yeah, AH is of course a hard requirement for this mod to work.
EX0stasis 11 AGO 2019 a las 18:59
For anyone wondering, like me, why this mod was causing the game to crash on launch, it was because I don't own the DLC called Alien Hunters because of all the bad reviews it got. The solution? If I don't want Alien Hunters, then it doesn't make sense for me to want this mod, so I unsubscribed. Nothing wrong with this mod though.
Elric 25 JUN 2019 a las 19:05
Shame on me... there was an ABE mod that I didn't have! Rectifying the situation now... fantastic mod.
Owenator 12 ENE 2019 a las 17:34
Question: Is the Cryo Priest supposed to kill the lost and trigger fire vulnerability? (With the Cryolater)
DerBK  [autor] 19 NOV 2018 a las 11:24
Ablative armor and shield are exactly the same thing, so they work the same. Yes, that means that Bluescreen will bypass it.

As for the ablative in ABB, there is a slight increase from 2 to 3 when going to Warden armor. More importantly, there is an increase in ablative when you use light armors, like Serpent or Spider suits. The upgraded Serpent Suit has the most ablative, with 5 points. On the flip side, heavy armors focus more on actual armor pips. I use ablative vs armor mitigation to give the different sets of armors (light, medium, heavy) their own flavor.
Assault Unicorn 19 NOV 2018 a las 10:21
Titans' ablative HP seems to work exactly like Shieldbearers' shield generators, meaning one successful shot of Bluescreen Rounds - and it's instantly gone. Just wanted to check whether the Bluescreen Rounds are supposed to be this powerful against them.

On a somewhat related topic: why do ABB XCOM armors always have 2 ablative HP and not increase in any way as the armor progresses? Seems like a somewhat half-baked feature to me.
DukeBurger 20 OCT 2018 a las 14:57
ok just checking .
DerBK  [autor] 20 OCT 2018 a las 14:51
Sorry, that doesn't mean anything to me, those are files i never touched or even looked at. :|
DukeBurger 20 OCT 2018 a las 14:49
I clear out my config every time i remove a mod which is usually every new play through , ill clear it out tomorrow to see if that fixes the crashing issue .

also i just wanted to report this , a cryo priest used its Cryolator on a group of lost which caused the game to crash . the alternate mod error message said it had an error loading package "..\..\XcomGame\CookedPCConsole\X2XPTheLost1_Bank0_SF.Upk" this is the first time ive seen this message
