try searching for "crossbow" (it may give multiples result, but you should see the "modern" crossbow on the line.)

you cant. they were no script for scope at the time the mod was made sadly :/ , and i m not even sure if they actually are a script for that that dont require shit tons of stuff/scripts.

well i made some other bolts and it dose not auto pick them maybe that's why there was not ammo I had to pcik the ammo to use. It now works but with diff ammo so I will give the mod 7 out of ten. The scope on the xbow makes it a 7. ps ty for your time. hope somebody makes a blow gun for this game that would be sooo cool total ninja stuff lol bye all have fun.

the mod is old. its possible that it didnt work very good todays. also you can use every bolt with it.

cant craft ammo? why not got all the stuff to make bolts but nothing works with this xbow not very good mod then

Had to come back and update. As I've never fooled around with the Archery tree. My problems are gone :)

Using the mod just fine, only negative for me is the scope not working. I checked through all the comments to see if there was an answer. I've not found anything. Other then that, ty for the awsome mod.

all stats are same for both version W / scope

yes, if it use the staff anim its ok, but it doesnt have animation or sound (sound can be changed, but animation, nope)
actually, the staff is the best way to input guns in the games like pistols. crossbow is better for rifles etc..
input an crossbow by using staff anim result on an small crossbow 1 hand (dat didnt look very good imo)

yes dawnguard (only dawnguard allow crossbow system). sorry didnt have add dlc in list due to this function didnt exxisted when this mod was create :p

- the mod is checked in the launcher ?
- do you have dawnguard dlc ? (required)
- try to see if the crossbow appear in the game (ie: console command "help crossbow", they are an list, but i m sure you gonna found this one, ID numbver should be very different than vanilla ones)

they are no specific reason than the mod didnt work or the chest didnt spawn O_o
