no worries. was in my survival series TTV and was thinking i grabbed mod cause i couldnt tell it to shoot spiders or focus fire..

its an energy weapon, you don't manufacture it, it auto populates in the weapon and uses power to generate it. look at the weapons inventory. Script generated, its all in the description.

np ken also add me to steam i sended friend request i looked onto your screenshots one of your ships look prety close to what im working on atm XD also sorry for alte reply my net went 100 to 0 in one second there is reconstruction in lower floors of the building i live in and the workers by mistake cut the cord for net so half of the building was without net so decided to sleep but its all working now also here is share link on google drive for these who waqnt to test https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kRGcCFU0ot_cMXtFHQkBfKpK9nnmP-be/view?usp=sharing also boss Skallabjorn can i ask you to look at it i cant seem to manage incrising the volume of the soundfile for this turret and i nerfed it instead of total dmg per minit 270 000 it does only 216 000 but cannot be intercepted as rocket can but i think it will still destroy the harvy armor block on one hit but just that one but tested on normal base cockpit it take 4 shots from it to be destroyed

becose it make sense when energy weapon it need a lot energy related parts also the incrised energy dosnt make problem maybe i should incrise it a bit more as i sue deuterium reactors which have range from 1-30GW

Yeah cause the energy script its a bullet and not a missile round you wont get an explosion ring. To balance it you will want to look at the energy require settings in the script itself and the charge times. Not just the settings in the sbc file etc

i also found out that each shot of my modified telion destroy one block of heavy armor becose i have the dmg set to 1500 with burst of 4 and 45 round/minit while vanila is 500 dmg burst of 6 with 90/minit while total dmg is same the energy one seems more op should i nerf it or not? but compered to vanila i dont have explosion so it just destroy that one block

it works when i load them as separate mods but together it seems imposible i asked author if he know what the issue could be as i want my railguns to be only 2500 range on AI and 3000 when manual controll while all normal guns are 800 and torpedos 1600(only manual fired) so like real ships with diferent range/firepower capacity in worst i will just uploud 2 fuzed and put in description setting file for the railgun separatly

i managed to fuze all 3 mods this one and discovery work perfect together but cant get the damm railgun to work they are in world but they just wont shot

i wish i was more skilled and could actually make it missile type dmg but i don't want to mess it more then needed i changed its fire rate to be only 45 instead of 600 and shot in burst of 4 and its total dps to be same as vanilla missile launcher also i decided to use sound effect made by this guy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_TGR2ux0nE the sound is 4:50 so when fired you will know its that gun XD im setting my pack to be strong as vanilla but not copy of vanila as my energy weapons will have slower fire rate but stronger to compensate so total dps stay same at last per block only think different is the railgun as i use shield mod and vanilla guns are not strong enough to pierce them so one gun (the railguns) that are already implemented to have stronger dmg to shields will serve as can openers for me sorry for writing so much and for those interested my weapon pack is combination of this mod the revived railgun mod and firstofficereds discovery mod(only 3 blocks from that mod)

Sounds likehes just changing the sound, the script for the energy ammo is not a Missile type damage compatible script ( think energy bullet and not energy bomb )

I know. I'm asking about one that uses the original firing sound instead of the TIE-Fighter sound. I've put it on my ship and tested it. It works fantastic, but the sound effect just doesn't seem to do it justice.

I'm not sure I follow. I did read the description. If you're talking about the link to the original weapon, that one isn't available for small grid ships. The reason I'm asking about a small grid version of the original is because I miss the deep thumping sound it made when firing. I'm sorry if I'm seeming pushy. It's just very difficult to find powerful sounding weapons for small grids.

Yes, but I need the original model / blender files to do what you ask so thus its not possible. I was not the creator of the models / blender files.

i know.. thank you either way. It's been done with about every other default block (small ship mega mod pack). There's another weapon pack.. CmdBobs I think.. the weapons are scaled nicely for small ships. Even tho some are 5x5 they are not so tall as to be impractical. Many thanks for your work.

Which is equivalent to 350 small grid blocks. (5x5x12) LOL. Please for the love of god shrink it down some. It doesn't fit on anything. You have have build a ship around it. LMFAO!

its 5 x 5 foot print, which is same as 1x1 large block foot print. Thanks for the feed back.
