My question I was getting at was if the AI would build a army of levy units as it's main army.. like mob units and just upgrade from there. I get what you're saying though. Thanks.

What what what? Maybe you got me wrong - at least I don't understand you. Most upgraded units can be recruited and they replace the lower tier units in ai recruitment.

So they only would be recruited for the levy for just the settlements not added to the AI army of recruitment for a force march army. Just was getting at if the AI recruited these units outside of the settlement so you wouldn't see a army of levy units trying to attack the player.

It is not only for garrison. It‘s an important part of the mod to remove those weak levy armies by upgrading low tier units. Most units can and will be recruited by AI.

Common bug, not caused by the mod and not possible to fix it through an update.

1.yes the galatian warrior and spears are vanilla you can see it on this link https://www.honga.net/totalwar/rome2/faction.php?l=de&v=rome2&f=rom_pergamon

2. I going to test it today in a couple of hours but the bug shows only in coop

1. Are you sure these galatian warriors are vanilla units? I'm going to check this before the next update.

2. This does not sound like a bug that is caused by this mod. The unit changes should not affect how units act in battles or how mechanics work.

I have found another bugs

1. the galatian warriors and spears for pergamon are not upgradable, they are recruitable from the moment when you build a t2 barracks and they are not in the garrison


2. the artillery reworked, we have a crash in coop when we destroy a second wall part with some siege equipment, the first going smooth but it crash when we destroy a second part of the wall

(But the other part of the mod very well balanced an vanilla like ^^ a great addtion)

In this mod is a bug, the Ccmmerians have alle steppe upgrade units as garrison , but a good mod ty for this mod

Well, that kind of sucks then. If there's nothing to be done on your end of things, that's fine. As long as the unit appears and fights, that's good enough for me.. Still, so glad I tried these mods out. This adds something to the game I didn't even know I wanted in the first place - great job!

This is a game issue with mods, not caused by the mod itself. At least no one knows the reason. The names are included correctly, maybe the game support can help you. I'm sorry but I don't know anything to do here.

Hey there, love the mod so far, but I ran into this issue - I upgraded my units, and suddenly there was no name (began after the second melee unit upgrade). Kind of makes it difficult to figure out what the new units are supposed to be.

Still, love the mods, but if possible, could this get fixed? Thanks!

You cannot change the unit size in general. You can only set unti size for single units. So such a mod would have to change the unit entries of every unit in the collection. This would be like an overhaul for the my collection. However, I cannot support different versions for such wishes which would need an update every time I add new units or change a unit mod.

The basic mob units use daggers which aren't real battle weapons. The 4th mob units are well equipped soldiers with javelins and swords. The rich people realized it's better to pay for a strong townguard so they can use expensive weapons and armour and receive good training.

it would be real cool if you changed the weapon for the mobs from swords to spears. it would only make sense, since a spear is really simple to use.

I'm having the same issue as wolfie. There's a bunch of units with no name or description in my Roxolani campaign, both in my faction and surrounding ones. If anyone has any ideas for a fix please share!

Hey wolfie, I know this issue happens to a few, not many users. Unfortunately there is no reason I could find and therefore I have no idea how to deal with it. It seems to be an issue that only appears since the RoR update and it has to be caused by the game, your settings or another general bug in the mod system, but not by the mod packs. I recommend to ask in the TW forums or to contact the support.

Hey Nor. I love your mod pack and I'm using all barr the German Translation.

I do however have the issue mentioned on a couple of your upgrade packs where the unit details come up blank. They have stats, but there is no description or name for them.

ah ok, but will the AI not then automatically choose the next available units from your recruitment to add those to the garissons?

The problem is, most levy units are also part of garrisons and those garrison units count for the cap. This means if you have many cities you won't be able to recruit levy unit in new cities if you need to.

There s another workaround to this whicjh works for me in my Wars of the Gods mod, set the levys and crappy low tier units to a cap that way it forces the AI to make better recruitment once that cap is reached! Thanks to Bran Mac Born for finding this and I believe it does work. However great mod and like its approach with the upgrades etc..
