Any reason why I cant get any games to load with this mod enabled? I remember it working perfectly fine a year or so ago. I kind of wanted to get back into endless space but im too use to how this mod changes the Vondyani for the better to go back to vanilla and they are my favorite lol. Any fixes or similar working mods? I know this is a shot in the dark and its probably a lost cause but i thought id ask anyways. I hope you're still alive.

The mod stops working once you get to the more ships, none of the turetts show up on the arks or any other ship, only the eploration ships, and because of this, everytime a non-exploration ship get in a battle with a pirate/minor faction/other empire vessel, the game crashes.

There has been a description put up for a couple days now. As stated elsewhere, there is no changelog available, the original mod creator did not share it before cutting ties with the community.

maybe the workload to keep the mod updated vs real life priorities. usually happen with lotta modders

I can keep the ark essence cost the same but increase the essence cap by 25% (So arks then cost 80% of the max) if no one has any issues with that.

I have an issue that should be dealt with. Upgraded Arc modules use Essence as part of the cost for building/upgrading, now that isn't an issue as an idea, but it causes problems when making new Arcs:
The Essence cost of a new Arc exceeds the maximum capacity of what you can gather, meaning that you can't make new Arcs when you have advanced Arc module in the design.

I can confirm that Ori's problem is not an isolated case and can provide a save if needed.

I found an issue that I narrowed down to this mod during my playthroughs. Just leaving it in the open in case a fix is ever in the works.

The game does not display weapon modules equipped on certain hull types in the ship editor, which seems to cause the game to lock up on the battle-loading screens. It finishes loading up, tooltips become available on flotilla strategies and efficiency, but the battle won't start or show the "press key to start" message. The offending ship classes seem to be the Toisam-class (Protector) and the Arks (any variation).

The weapon modules are normally effective when battles are set to be skipped, but actually allowing the game to play the battle scenes causes the issue.

I'm not sure whether this happens on the Vaulters/Supremacy game versions since I don't own them yet, but just something to look into.

It had some nice approaches to dealing with things that I wanted to reference, like making the Arks get progressively better as the game proceeds.

Hey, Rob! Maybe it's a fluke of the base game; I can't get it to replicate for some reason. Similar in how my game freezes if I use a lone Hero ship to scan Auriga in the Vaulters quest.

I had all three mods on and it wouldn't lock yesterday, so I don't know what the causative factor is! Probably some arcane variable like a certain Vodyani Hero on a fleet versus Champion Pods or something. Which could very well be an Amplitude thing and in no way due to Aitarus.

I'm pretty sure there's a bug with Aitarus' mods and the current game version. With only his three mods and 1.3.9 there is a repeatable combat freeze if a Vodyani AI fleet attacks my Behemoth. This happens repeatably if I forcequit the game and reload that turn.

I'm loading Combat Mod, then Vodyani, then Politics. Have I loaded something in the wrong order? I think that was the order of them when he was still modding.
