not sure if intended, but the Smite ability is restricted only to using a sword which seemed weird as the class this is based on supports also ripjacks and shields: I changed the AbilityWeaponCategoryRestrictions to (sword, wristblade, shield) and with atleast the ripjack it seems to work fine

Thank you for the info. Was not sure how this works.

Yes. The original mod contains the ability code. This mod just deactivates the class and slots those abilities into RPGO.
Zaela Zhezzaia 12 Aug, 2019 @ 10:24am
Dumb question. Do I need the original warrior of the light mod active to use this?
bstar  [author] 18 Nov, 2018 @ 7:35am
No, they don't need a psi amp.
Naylind 17 Nov, 2018 @ 10:52pm
sorry dumb question, this class count as psionic and need the psiamp to cast his spells?

That's cause you're the best! :)

I updated it a few hours after that post..

Please let us know when it's been updated. I eagerly await adding this to my next campeign.

Whoops, I'll update the mod later. Looks like I was a bit tired.

From what I'm seeing is that the combination mod is increasing the number in forced deck by 1, and number in total deck by 4, then reducing both by 0. I checked other mods that add classes to RPGO and below is the comparison.

Warrior of Light:
+NumInForcedDeck=1
+NumInDeck=4
-NumInForcedDeck=0
-NumInDeck=0

Samurai:
-NumInForcedDeck=1
-NumInDeck=4
+NumInForcedDeck=0
+NumInDeck=0

Swapping the +'s and -'s in Warrior of Light fixes the issue.

I've just changed the config of the base WoL mod to have 0 chance of spawning them, i'm not sure if it's a mod load order issue or just generally a glitch
EjoThims 25 Sep, 2018 @ 11:04pm
@Sny_Vs_Spyper

I'm having the same issue, but only just starting today.
Sny_Vs_Spyper 7 Sep, 2018 @ 10:16am
Not for me, weirdly enough.
I'll see if it's messing up on my end specifically
bstar  [author] 7 Sep, 2018 @ 7:50am
@Sny_Vs_Spyper The mod already does that (see XComClassData.ini) and it appears to be working for most people.
Sny_Vs_Spyper 6 Sep, 2018 @ 4:53pm
You might want to disable the Warrior Of Light base class, half of my units now get promoted to it instead of the RPG Overhaul soldier class and it's crippling my game
bstar  [author] 5 Sep, 2018 @ 9:42am
Never played with it but I don't see why it wouldn't.
CommanderShepard153 5 Sep, 2018 @ 9:32am
This works with Psi overhaul yes?
Mister Gruffle 5 Sep, 2018 @ 6:53am
This mod has some really interesting sounding perks, looking forward to combining with all the other classes you made available for RPGO. Top work man!

No problem,
well, this one not a bug, just the perk Smite hace it own value of damage/critical chance, Leave this perk falling behind very badly with only 3-5 damage and 0% chance to crit while it only benefit from this tree rather than ANY other sword-play perk supporting.

I understand this might be some balance reason with that stun, but I believe this would be a very umpopular perk tree to take since it is the core of this tree...Since the RPGO is so creative that player could conbine many line of perk tree to cross combo it.
bstar  [author] 5 Sep, 2018 @ 2:55am
@Fleshseeker Thanks for the report. I'll see what I can do about that.
Fleshseeker 5 Sep, 2018 @ 2:37am
Hi, the Perk Smite is only working for the secondary weapon, which meant in RPGO, the Main-handed sword-play would be forbidden to use this perk tree.
This inhibited player to play like a Paladin with a sword in mainhand while shield on the offhand.
