All functional buildings require about 3 maintenance just to have the basics. So the current $500 coal plant can not make any income as it requires 3 maintenance to have crew+supply+water+repairs. Making the coal plant give 5 income is a much better solution as it gives you some profit.
Its a very good system, if it works, and a smart way of making it happen, but for some reason it seems that the cost doesnt change even if you change the number.
For example, you should be getting 5 gold, instead of paying upkeep of 1. But when changing it to -5, or --5 actually, it stays at 1.
So you should be paying less than zero, or making money, but you are not. Its going to be a gamechanger when it works, but it doesnt seem to work like it should.
It SHOULD give -1, yes, but it doesnt.
Great mod sir and thank you for your work! I just wanted to say that I love the look of these modules and agree with @Malovit The Soldat that these need to be balanced somewhat!
