THANK YOU! You have no idea how many people you help with this mod.

THIS MOD IS PART OF THE FIX TO CRASHING ON STARTUP
Crashing Starts:

- Because the game switched to resolutions un-supported by your hardware.
- (Automatically after a crash.)
- Intro movie cannot play with the selected resolution (so it starts minimized)

This mod fixes the 1st part of this problem!
Without this mod:

- Waiting for the intro movie to play itself out over 1-4 mins was the solution
- If that didn't work, or this mod doesn't fix it

- Means your main menu cannot display because your resolution is unstable
- Go to C drive (or wherever you installed the game) C > Users > (your username) > AppData > Roaming > The Creative Assembly > Attila > scripts folder. Delete preferences.script.txt. Restart game. Play windowed. Once you find a resolution that works, make a copy of that .txt file. When crashing starts again, replace original file w copy to fix it.

thanks, a simple mod that means I can hit 'continue campaign', make a cup of tea and not come back to the intro movie - just straight into the action.
