A: the corpses are invisible for whatever reason?
B: Victims don't turn into zombies if they die
C: if they could have their eye texture turn into an orange glow, that would be super cool!
D: Infected have like, 600 hp. Too much. Maybe 250 instead?
Since this is based off of ZPS chances are the infection time is the same amount of time in there which by default would be about a minute long in fact I remember the survival guide for the game saying this "you won't feel a thing for the first thirty seconds"

power up the infection rate to 100 and anyzombie in one bite or attack will infect you
