as far as i know not without using weaponcore.

mwi - homing weaponry ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1919062467 ) would be one, but as said it needs weaponcore ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1918681825 ) which isnt everyones taste.
i for myself prefer the possibilites that wc brings with it over the vanilla system, even if that means that not everythign can be used cause mixing up different weaponframeworks only causes incompatibilities and heavier probs se cant handle multiple weaponframeworks in use at the same time properly.

What a wasting of time figure out how these workking and find out these are only normal rocket launchers with out homing ability. Even missile turrets if i make some mistake..

As far as I'm aware, this is the only mod that has homing missiles anymore.
(At least working to any degree at all.)

Works well so far, but my missiles stopped locking on after a red rift of some sort appeared behind my ship.

I have encountered some problems with the Fixed Missile Launchers on small grid. the missiles sometimes don't track targets, and act like they were only regular missiles

@merodois most torpedo mods use grids for there torpedos, grids tend to be more expensive than the rocket style projectile, but if you could turn the missile/rocket/torpedo into a grid I would think that would solve the syncing problem.

It's been awhile since I've scripted, but I was thinking of converting this from a multiple ammo per weapon to a more standard single ammo type each. Any examples I could parse of a similar grain, perchance?

It is possible to disable torpedos in this mod? I like them but seems to have some issues with shield mods where the blast radius of the missile moves through the shield uneffected.

@noob, you do realize there are tabs and that you have a search bar right? if you can't find them in the general tab, just type in the name... They should show up in the weapons tab though.

If they aren't there, reinstall the mod...

having a tough time getting the camera designation to work. Seem to work just fine when actually point the launchers at the target but the camera isnt working even when following the instructions you gave.

Can't seem to duplicate the bouncing off the shield thing, but speed is definitely a problem. Above the vanilla speed, you quickly outpace the missiles and torpedoes, and when you run into the torps, you die :). Unfortunately I don't know how to edit something like that, Jackik, but hopefully the mod author might. It would definitely be a help.

Dunno if this has been mentioned before, but be careful using these with a speed mod and/or the defense shield mod. The projectiles can move slow enough to hit if you aren't careful, and when moving quickly with a bubble shield, the torpedoes impact the inside of the shield and explode, lol. I'm enjoying the mod, though I find I need to brake a little when entering a strafing run and shut down my bubble shields before firing. Keep up the great mod work, and watch out for those bubble shield missile explosions :).

Can you increase the targeting range of the turrets to 1.5 Km please? I've been trying to find turrets that can AI target further that 800 meters and can't find anything good, would love to see these missile turrets barrage a target out of the range of gatling turrets. Another thing is that changing the ammo type doesn't seem to make a difference in regard to damage, any way to help?

could you make a speed tweak? when using speed mods the missiles are too slow and slam back into my ship. torpedoes will devastate my ships.

for the target designation, does it have to be a camera, or one of the many "designator turret" we can find on the workshop can be used to lock a target?
same with slaving script, can they be used to auto lock a target for the homing missile?

So yeah, they work in single player, but the models leave a lot to be desired. You can see the turret base through the torpedo's launch hole.

I have a serious bug problem: None of your Weapons use the conveyor system. They are connected but not accessable. I can't load them through the Inventory menu either. i tried it with and without "Ammo Manegement Controls" mod. Maybe its SE, but im not shure
