Using this as a ghost template to make the TLE Shotgun and Rifle sound like the guns they are based on, and I gotta say, I love it very much. Thank you!

I kept the other sounds as is since I found them a bit over the top even when I played EU =P.

I know this a pretty old mod but some of the templates in the localization for the MG/BM pistol and MG/BM LMG are incorrect .

@pabloaram2011 This mod was made when LWOTC still did not exist. It will likely not work properly with it.

the Tier 2-3 LMG and Pistol has missing localisation; their codes names are scrambled in the file.

@Veehementia I'm losing the xcom pistol once the 3rd tier kicks in. I can still equip it in the loadout but it no longer shows on the soldier or in the field. Do you have any ideas?

@superscrungus you can use Iridar's Weapon Skin Replacer in order to do that.
Is there a way to disable the sound and particle effects for magnetic and plasma tier? I prefer the ballistics effects and would like to keep using those at higher tiers.

@Everyone UPDATE IS OUT:
- Mod completely rewrote from scratch.
- Fixed a vast number of bugs, including but not limited to:
Conventional tier weapons now correctly appear in the inventory, no engineering required.
Magnetic and Beam weapons now correctly appear in research.
Tier upgrades are now Squad Upgrades, and will unlock alongside their respective tiers.
Re-checked visual attachments path and positions.
- Added visual attachments for Pistols.

@holywarrior1192: Yeah, I wish i was good at editting files but knowing my luck my PC would explode haha. I think having a squad upgrade system would be more practical in the long run:)

@Mac Dog64: Just got to the workshop folder that contains the mod, then config. Each weapon has an ini file. I only use the pistol from the mod but you can change the price for all of them. I also agree with the squad upgrade idea, I tried to edit this in the sdk but I am not a modder.

@Veehementia: Loving the mod, I'm no good with delving into ini files, I was wondering is there a plan to update this so each tier acts like a squad upgrade like in vanilla, similar to other weapon mods too where you only have to buy once and you have an infinite amount. I only ask because it seems as if I have to purchase a single gun each time for every soldier which is okay but it gets expensive when it comes to supplies buying for example 10 assault rifles using nearly 1000 supplies.

Cosmetic must be set to false, otherwise the weapons will use the default values from the game and not from the ini files. Once you set that to false, you can edit whatever you want to your heart's content.

All weapons I edited the _IUPGRADESLOTS=2 to _IUPGRADESLOTS=4 and it didn't work, though while cruising through the comments of the bloke/girl/person that created the original I found if I edited the part MrK_X1Shotgun_Cosmetic = true and changed the true to a false for cosmetic it worked perfectly fine. It might be one edit screwing with another...

@James you're going to have to be a little more specific than that. Which weapon is not updated? Which ini files did you modify? Which weapons updated? I just tested by changing all the weapons upgrade slots to 3 for all tiers and it works as expected.

Great Mod. Question: I edited the ini files to give it a few more weapon slots but it refuses to update it. But other weapons I've edited.. edits completely, I am wondering why, any help would be cool

Oh, I never blame devs/modders for the problem. It's what happens when you get 3200 people all coding the same things at the same time. I've resubbed to both mods, just in case. Deactivating Celatids didn't fix the schematic issue I had last time I used it, but I'll double check just in case. Thanks for the help!
