hunters don't have eyes. they use a form of echolocation. this is also why hunters scream when lunging.

Read the description's 1st paragraph. Play with friends & Local Host only with lobby host inserting sv_consistency 0 in their console before starting the match.
Valve hard blocked special infected .vmt edits, including glowing textures to prevent full-body glow in the dark cheat mods on ALL official servers. Virtually all Dedicated Servers run by third party servers will also have sv_consistency 1 set by default. (Custom model hitbox exploits, etc)

Please fix this mod every time me or my friend that have this installed try to play on OFFICAL servers we get constant consistency errors and it's all an issue with your mod PLEASE fix it.

I can't even played a campaign in Single Player with this mod.

technically this can't be true since hunters are blind and have no eyes. But still, this is a really cool mod for the special infected.

Broken; conflicts with the update that restores L4D1 specials in L4D1 campaigns and makes their models swap between 1 and 2.

you should make a version without the hunter, quoting wowsuchgaming
"the hunter has clawed out his eyes" so it wouldnt be possible for the eyes to glow if they arent even there! (this also applies to the L4D2 hunter because the upper face file can be found, and yes, shows his eyes are clawed out)

This just makes the game feel more creepy, good job.

glow mods were always consistency restricted on Specials. It was a problem that plagued the first game badly.
Desc already clearly states how things will go for you.

Any SI glow mods that don't warn you are restricted all the same, the uploader just hasn't bothered to mention it.

So now this mod is useless as the dev said, Valve cracked down on glowing stuff. If this doesn't work anymore, why keep it up, or why not say its broken in the description?

Thats exactly what this is, modifies only their texture (and .vmt to enable the actual glow via more alpha = more glow). Regardless the game spits a 'model consistency' error.
This is because people make mods that make the entire body glow, and is an unfair advantage in Versus. So Valve cracked down on it long ago.
