Gut und kurz, Danke Danny.

Very good scenario. I like the stopping points on the platforms - adds a bit of a challenge not to overshoot!! Thank you for sharing this Danny.

Thanks - I think the "while not required - recommended"' note works well.

Just simply state that the scenario was created in 64-bit and you cannot be certain it would run in 32-bit. I certainly won't be testing over two different forms of TS, it's a lengthy enough process to start with.

Although e.g. a scenario could run absolutely fine for me on 32 bit, but for another person it could run out of memory :). So if something works on 32 bit for me it might not for others :).

To be honest I would say running on 64 bit would have been good for most scenarios anyway - more so for routes such as Portsmouth, and more so for Frankfurt route (simply because of the trackwork at Frankfurt alone)

Up to you of course. I would surely agree that this only becomes a real issue for scenarios that can only reasonably be run at 64-bit systems. Note that some people on lower specs PC are finding that they do not have the recommended specs for 64-bit and are therefore sticking to 32-bit TS 2019 for now. It would not therefore be correct to presume that everyone will run 64-bit anyway.

In which case I shall just mention on all new scenarios that it would run better on 64 bit, even though most people would have common sense to run the 64 bit anyway?

A recent scenario published on one of the well known external forums states explicity that RAM usage during the scenario is up to 4 GB and that, as such, the scenario requires 64-bit TS 2019 to run [at reasonabe settings]. I do think people will increasingly be looking out for guidance in this respect.

I would have said the same thing :) - Unless it was a really heavy AI scenario, I wouldn't have thought you would have needed to say if 64 bit was required.
DPSimulation 15 Oct, 2018 @ 5:29am
But how would they know 64-bit was required? Are you now suggesting freeware creators test the scenario in both modes to see if they get a crash?
jpvdveer 15 Oct, 2018 @ 3:25am
Fair enough - but with AP stock one might expect things to get a bit trickier. Moreover, it can be expected that scenario builders will startt taking advantage of 64-bit capabilities, producing scenarios that can only run on 64-bit TS. As such, it would be useful to state whether or not 64-bit is required.
Danny  [author] 15 Oct, 2018 @ 2:48am
Shouldn't need to require it ? The Portsmouth Route was avaliable separately before hand, it should work on 32 bit (it did for me :) ).

Does this require 64-bit TS2019? It would be helpful to mention this under the requirements.
