Can you add some more vehicles? The map is one of the best looking on this game and I love the vibe it gives off it's just so empty even with 200 bots.

I feel that more vehicles will make this map fun.

So I love this map and have played it a lot, but one bug I've found is that bots spawning at The Weapon have a tendency to spawn underground, effectively shrinking the team that holds it over time. Any way to circumvent this other than removing that point from play?

This map is awesome, definitely one of my favorites. For me 100 bots hits the sweet spot. I love the scale and the terrain, and the little buildings and structures definitely remind me of something Bungie would've made with a hint of Half-Life. Good work!

Wow, really good if your looking for a large scale, Arma like experience with lots of down time between fire fights, also good for sniping, dogfights and other things.

@Bademus Octavian Absolutely. Here's my step by step process when making a map:

1) Get some reference images: For this map I used a lot of pictures of 'Brutalist' architecture, as well as a lot of buildings from Halo.

2) Make some terrain: For this map I used a terrain making program called World Machine. There is a free version available, and plenty of tutorials for getting started. HOWEVER, making your own terrain in unity is also fine.

3) In Unity, download an asset called Probuilder. All of these building were made with probuilder, which lets you model simple shapes and stuff.

4) Baking Lightmaps: Currently, I am using a unity asset called Bakery to bake lightmaps, which is how you get those nice shadows everywhere. You can also just use unity's built in lightmapper.

5) Most importantly: Join the Ravenfield discord and ask for help along the way

nearly one year later still think its the most beautiful map in the game so far!
and pls upgrade the APC into it and I recommend to make a harbor and boats near the sea!!

Love this map. First time I loaded it up, seeing the stone rings gave me a Halo Infinte feel. Really love this map. Hope to see more like it.

@ZShooter360 I plan on making my next map similar to this one, but with additional interior work. I havn't really done any mapping work lately though, as there are possibly some big changes coming up with how maps are created (In game editor)

@Mercenary As many as your computer can handle. I play with 200 and manage about 30fps, but a word of advice: The higher the bot count, the higher the respawn time should be. This way when taking a point it is less likely bots will explode out of nowhere and make capturing impossible.

This seems more Halo inspired, but you should do a close quarters Black Mesa Facility map, with a fight between the HECU and Xens/Black Ops/BM Staff, maybe a C17 map. Go on, your map is awesome! :palmer::gordon:

@creativealec It is a known bug, but I'm not sure how to fix it. If you restart the map, they will act normally.

I love the map but my Eagle AI refuse to leave the base XD I tried to send them out using "always obey" command and sending them to capture points, but it hadn't worked. Maybe this could be fixed? That or I'm doing something wrong.

Hi! I would just like to commend you on your effort with this map. It runs excellently and I absolutely love the absence of combat for the first few minutes! It gives me ample time to get ready and I adore the way you created the landscape! One little complaint I have is that at the Raven Spawn (The one with all the elevated rectangles) the Tank AI makes the tank turn to the left, causing it to drive right into the other vehicles before correcting itself and driving on the road as normal. This can usually cause a massive orgy pile of vehicles, which is very detrimental if you're playing with larger land vehicles, like Topor Enterprise's mods. Would you be able to fix it so that the AI drive the tank onto the road immediately and not do the U-Turn sort of formation? Other than that, it's an excelllent map! :8bitheart:

@devyndamonster - So I've decided to make my own maps, and I have found the same problem in my first map as with this map; the AI doesn't move unless killed once or restarted. When you find out what's causing this, could you please tell me?

Great open map. Would love if you could replace the quads with regular jeeps especially for Eagle's original spawn. Makes troop movement much better since jeeps can carry more than quads.

@devyndamonster - Hi, it's me again. I just want to say that this map is so damn cool and had so much thought put into it. It would be awesome if you made one themed off of the Eagles. It could have a portal for the Ravens, and this would be them trying to take revenge on the Eagles for destroying their research island. The map could be like a huge military base with a few labs spotted around the area near the portal. You could make this into a big story or something! But that's just a suggestion.

Also, by carefully studying the airfield ramps again, I have discovered that the bots are idiots and only start to take off near the ramps, which means that they hit the tiny sliver of ramp anyway even though you shortened it so much, so they go down to half health before they've even fought anything. I think that the only solution is to flatten the end completely. Other than that, I haven't found anything else that needs to be fixed.

Honestly? This map is amazing. The biggest issue of this map is that Eagles have no vehicles at their original Spawn.
Moreover, with only one point northwest having winged aircraft, the Ravens, along with the vehicles of their spawn, are a bit overpowered.
Lastly, the coastal point at the southeast is a bit too empty. Maybe try adding naval units for artillery? :)

Can you fix these issues? If so, I'm golden.
