Find the mod somewhere in, Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\,(I have a local copy of the mod so cant tell exactly where the mod is located).
Edit the about.xml.
Replace "<targetVersion>1.0.2059</targetVersion>" with
<supportedVersions>
<li>1.0</li>
<li>1.1</li>
</supportedVersions>
using something like notepad++.
There are some yellow errors but it seems to work.

Maybe that fits in normal vanilla apparel and can work with some other apparel mods.
What do you mean a "compatibility patch"? For some kind of famous apparel mods like Apparello?
Anyhow, I am planning to make a race mod but you know I have lots to learn to use Alien Race mod.
Surely it takes long, so please don’t expect too much.
