I still prefer Safe Pause's implementation. :)
i went on vacation and rimworld wasn't working right but when i get home and back to my cat the game worked again. so buy a cat if you want rimworld to function as intended
Should I get one? Or do you think I can still enjoy the mod without one?
Mod_1551734715_SafePause.xml
you could maybe try to make a backup of it somewhere else, and then delete it,
and then try editing the mod settings (in game) to recreate the file..
maybe something happened with the config file (it does happen sometimes)
The case you described is exactly what my other mod Tactics Mode is for. Toggle on tactics mode for Maverick and then the game will pause and focus on him the instant he finishes putting that armour on.
If I hit the keyboard to pause, I want to be able to unpause really quickly sometimes (usually) - come on Maverick, finish putting the armor on so I can pause and change your queued orders, come on, there! Oh no, not done yet, wait wait wait, unpause, almost done, there! No, still not done, wait wait wait, unpause,....
made me smile
That was gold!
Yes, i have experienced something similar, but not with raiders, but 9 scythers...
10 colonists turned to just 1½ colosists, missing 1 ear, and both legs...
He only survived that because mere moments later, a wonderer joined, with great medical skills...
My "relationship" with Randy Random is what we call a "Love/Hate" relationship :P
He makes for the best stories.
