How do you access the new units? I turned on the mod and loaded up a new game, but the buildings and ship all have the usual units, none of the stuff from the mod.

As expected, the achievement does not pop. At least not with the sartosan gunners (pistol) which seem like the obvious counterpart to the free companies.

The mod does add some real cool units and especially the swashbucklers are badass and I love the look of the gunners with the disheveled flagellant look and the nice hats.Very nice.

IIRC the new units have been given certain tags that identify them as sartosan pirates/militia for the purposes of benefiting from research/lord skills etc - absolutely no idea if this would affect achievements, as far as I know we cant mod them in any way

This seems like an interesting mod and I'm gonna play Aranessa once I'm done with my Kraka Drak campaign, but I was wondering if the sartosan gunners would still trigger the motley crew achievement for Aranessa? If so, I'll do vortex because that didn't trigger in mortal empires.

If not, I'll do mortal empires again because vampire corrupting Norsca is just too damn funny.

I'm bearing such concerns in mind and the current plan is to include some kind of unit cap that, for example, favours Aranessa recruiting mortal pirates. I'll also include instructions on how to edit the mod - 5 mins on RPFM and you can delete whatever additions aren't to your taste.

Oh. That's a shame. I use this mod to differentiate Aranessa from the other vampirates, not to add mortal units to all Vampire Count factions. Still: your mods, your call.

Work has started on a port. Going to merge this with the Lost and the Damned mod since they both basically do the same thing of adding/expanding mortals units to undead factions. As per modding tradition it'll be 'done when it's done' - HOPEFULLY a week or so assuming no major issues crop up.

Is IE going to make TW3 worth it though is the question?

Will mods and devs still support the (clearly) far superior WH2 after IE launches and steals away talent and time?

Why are ANY of supporting what CA has done anymore? They have been caught lying, literally stealing, committing fraud and actually cancelling Youtubers and silencing the Warhammer community as a whole for years (along with what GW does and probably forces them to enforce).

These people are NOT our allies as gamers.

my only problem here is that there are no Living Sartosan General or even agents, I mean its not Sartosa is after all full of life in all its scum and villainy but yeah I'll be waiting for an update.

To clarify: my mod doesn't include or change any of the lists of data that affect garrison composition. I'm as close to 100% sure as I can be that there's nothing in the mod that could be doing this. What units specifically show up? What are their on-screen names?

Just checked the mod and it doesn't contain any garrison tables so it can't be from this. I'd check you're other mods see if the problem is elsewhere.

This is the only balanced Sartosa mod out there and I would strongly recommend it. It's the complete package. It gives Sartosa a much more fun and flexible roster that happens to also be lore friendly. You'll definitely feel motivated to bring the mortals instead of the undead units without feeling they’re overpowered. The perfect vigour trait is a bit weird but I believe that’s just CA’s theme for Sartosa mortal units so I guess the modder just decided continue on that theme. Personally I would remove it all together but it’s alright. This is a must if you want to play vampire coast.

I don't want to promise anything but I'm nearing the end of a Yvresse campaign and I have my eye on updating this mod a bit. Mostly visual tweaks to the uniforms now that I have a bit more experience. If I do crack it open again I'll have a look at the names.

This is a really petty request, but could you change their naming convention from 'Sartosa' to 'Sartosan' to fit in with the Sartosan units already in the game?

Mod updated for Silence & Fury - any issues please report with details. I'll consider the ogre request as I've been meaning to have another pass at this mod at some point but if they're easy enough to recruit normally I don't see it as being necessary.

I've got S&F downloaded and fully intend to update all my stuff to work with the latest patch eventually. As is modding tradition it'll be done 'when it's done' because there's a lot to go through.
