Hi this mod does not seem to work anymore for the current version of the game and NSC 2 mod...NSC 2 just had a big update not too long ago

love this mod and idea but upgrading stations individually in a long game is such a pain, great work as it is for a small game. i'd fully use this again with with the new real space cluster mod in the future

Had to removed 3/4 of the 5 or so mods i got today, because the game would crash before it even got past the loading screen.

I don't like the mod since it requires a UI changer, which when i last used it, screwed up a lot of my UI parts.

Because the version it’s built against is 2.2.2 it works fine on 2.2.3

Thanks wooly! I can’t test it right now, but does It still gives us the option to enable auto update right? It just doesn’t automatically update the design correct? If that doesn’t make sense let me try to clarify.

What was happening is let’s say I unlocked turbo lasers, all my civilian ship and station designs would get a new generated design that was listed as auto-best and renamed. Then if I researched another technology that dealt with weapons, shields or armour that design would get overwritten. And so on and so forth.

Is there a version of this mod that has the auto update feature turned off? It keeps erasing my designs and going back to the basic starter equipment.

@Wooley2000 Hey man no problem. I respect and appriate the work you and other modders do to make a good game so much better. You take your time and do what ya need to (and make sure to take care of yourself as well)
Just doing my part in throwing out idea's and suggestions on things I see/notice. Like when I got crystal infused armor and then all my mining stations cost crystals to make! hah. Anyway. Thanks for all your work!

@niveksirrah I am using vanilla values, I know what you mean it does get more expensive in my game too. It started with the new resources. I will be playing and trying to tweak the values over time. I am the only one here to work on this mod and the game can be really long so it takes a while for me to catch any bugs or balance issues to the game.

Is there anyway to adjust the cost of the stations? I like having them armed and all but now they cost minerals AND alloy's to build and quite a lot at that. Minerals is fine but perhaps there can be something in the mod that cuts the alloy cost on civ ships and structures by 50-70%? other wise it makes early game much more of a pain since your alloy porduction is very low and pulls alloy from what you should be useing to build warships into general expansion.

This mod broke my game, makes it impossible to build research and mining stations in my systems, even after I removed it. When setting a construction ship to build there is no cost for the build, which I think is creating the error. This is really bad.

Ok it still works, make sure you are only enable the version of my mod that you want to use eg. this mod plus the required mod, or the transport version plus its required mod, or the vanilla version of my mod alone. That is why I created 3 versions of my mod so that it would be compatible with the the other mods. Otherwise check the list of mods you are using if any of them make changes to the 00_ship_sizes.txt or other.txt files it will break with my mod enabled, hope this helps. Also I noticed when you first start you might have to go into the shipd designer first and create you designs before you can use the stations.

I had to keep turning mods off and on what's wierd is that whenever I start a new game mining/research stations can't be built but games I started before I turned it on were not affected
