I may be doing something wrong, but I don't see any changes when I subscribe and apply the mod in the launcher and run the game. I checked off trails. I don't know if it's a factor, but I'm testing in custom battle.

Hi! Great mod, just what I was looking for. I know I have no right to ask this of you, but could you perhaps upload a version where the ratling guns and warplocks have no trails? Or maybe a version that only features appropriate war machine trails? I've would (only with your permission) try to modify the file just for myself, I just don't think I'll pull it off :)

hi @Ourg, i use a mod that delete some VSX to make the game more fluid, so i wanna aask if i dont play both of your mod could i stull use this one and it would work ? just wanna take off the unrealistic arrow trail lol

Hey mate, my Salamanders' fireballs don't have any projectile trail at all, meaning they shoot invisible blobs.
I am also using mods that remove extra battle effects, but that did not affect the Sallies until this mod. Projectile trails are turned off in the menu too.

The latest update for this mod (July 14/15 2021) causes 1.11.1 to hang/crash before loading the cinematics. I've narrowed it down to this one mod. Unfortunately, I can't load my prior campaign saves without this mod. Is there somewhere I can download the previous version?

@Ourg thanks for this beautiful mod! Could you take a look at the expanded rosters series, they became really essential in my load order but i can't stand the UGLY white trails. Would it be hard to change the tables myself?

Found a bug.

When paired with SFO, playing as Empire (Huntsmarshall) the steamtank, and Dwarf hero are unable to switch weapons.

This mod i have found replaces the standard round for steamtanks and is unable to hot switch firing modes.

Ok, looks like it is simply not supposed to work with SFO - returns some tab values to vanilla or smth like that. Not "fully incompatible" but, well, SFO balance is a tricky thing.

Found some weird effect: with this mod goblin stone lobbers have equal distance with the doom diver. Sure, your mod wasn't the only one I use, but through exclusion and reloading I figured out the one causing this.

I know but this mod is made to work with cinematic battle effects mod which is already editing the projectil_display table. So if i do it won't be compatible

You know, you could just edit Projectile_display table and change arrows and bullets trail in trail colum to blank. rather going through trail always on and off in projecttile table.

I am not subbed to Cinematic battle effects because I worry my Computer is not strong enough.

Cheers for the quick update, nice mod, though I'd like to edit a couple of things about it personally. I want to disable trails for mortars, and I'd like to enable trails for wood elf arrows (their arrows glow) and high elf artillery. I edited a mod like this for personal use when wood elves were released for warhammer 1, but I've totally forgotten how to do it now. I was wondering if you could explain the very basics of how to edit this so I can do it myself rather than nag you to do it for me.

Yeah and the effects are a tad lowered but I was looking for a complete removal off all non-artillery or magic ranged units tracers removed.
