Does anyone know of any other addons that are similar to this one, except you can be selective of which npcs receive the buff or not? Trying to buff striders back into their HL2 counterpart, but I really don't want to deal with turrets that do 15 dmg per bullet.

A must-have imo. Without it many of the original HL2 NPCs and such just don't feel challenging to fight against in-game. I also utilize ai-enhancement addons, because I value NPC encounters as something that should be different nearly every single time. Amazing addon, keep it up!

This doesn't affect combine soldiers. A lot of SWEPs can one-shot them in the head by default.

I'll take that as confirmation that I can't modify those values from any file config. That sucks.

It's all done externally with Lua.

Just wondering, how were you able to modify the damage values for the Strider, Hunter, and the turrets? I've been trying to find those values in any configuration folder I can find but to no avail. Where can I find these values so that they can be editable?

I wish there was a way to make NPCs a bit more beefy, as with the weapon buff and this addon npcs die really quickly (so doesn't the player, but still npcs for the most part don't get 100 health).

Guys, you can buff zombie damage, headcrab damage, and manhack damage by finding their damage values in the skill.cfg file.

Do not combine this with the Bullet Override addon. Especially if you tinker with damage values. Legitimately made turrets two shot you if you're completely without suit energy and 4-5 shot you when at full suit energy. XD

Mod 1: inpc this add on adds a buff that makes the zombie ramp up its speed as it hits you

Mod 2: headcrabs plus v4 this adds everything you mentioned about the headcrabs

I wish there was a zombies buff. The only one I could find on this workshop is one that just gives you a shitty infection mechanic that can easily be defeated by spawning cures for yourself, or just killing yourself and respawning.

Could you make a zombies buff where maybe they do more damage, or the headcrab could insta-kill and turn you into a zombie?

AKA a way to play the ghalf life campaign with custom guns without oneshotting everything.

Now you just have to add a H.E.V suit buff that makes it so when you wear the H.E.V Suit the damage is equivalent to vanilla half life 2 lol
