@Genocide Crusader Problem is, the reborn version doesnt work with a Lot of Old ass Mods. many of which are not being updated anymore either. thats why folks ask for an Update here. (for example the "recruit defeated Lords" mod im using needs this oen to have the Stats changed (for whatever reason the mod doesnt kick in until turn 50 default)

I had been getting the same issues others here have mentioned. I have been getting the same bug of neither mod configuration tool working. Specifically The Legendary Lords confederation mod not working.

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!
I stopped using the Community Modding Framework mod.
zzzzz_scripting_framework.pack

Currently using the latest version of the Mod Config Tool 2.0

I think I know why. There is a conflict between them because new MCT is now asking for presets at the main menu of the game. And old MCT is still asking for presets at the beginning of campaign. So there must be a conflict when you fill each of them instead of only one (that's why the cursor is stuck). So, I only launched the new MCT and it works fine now ! I think you can unsusbscribe the old MCT ! ;)

when I play tomb kings It does not let me click on anything, so I got to shut down the whole game. I try to find what the problem is. does anyone has an idea?

Shouldn't be any issue with the new version not working with them. Anyndel's mods aren't updated to use 2.0 as well as a few others, but the majority otherwise (afaik) have updated to work with 2.0

Next release of MCT 2.0 will likely be the one that puts the old version away. User count isn't a big issue since there are bound to be people still subbed but haven't played for a while, subbed but aren't using, or subbed but no mods of theirs hook into this version anymore

You prolly shouldn't use this mod anymore considering it's being completely replaced by the "reborn" version (made by me). I don't really have an interest in remaking UIMF, Vanish is active in the community still and I don't use UIMF personally. Dunno what the issue with the black screen is, but it's not unlikely to be this mod or an outdated UI mod

Sure, I was wondering if you three could make an alternative version of the UIMF. If I'm not mistaken, this own configuration tool also have an alternative version named "reborn" or something like that. I just want a solution for the black screen, either this configuration tool or the UI is causing the issue (I think, maybe it's another mod who is conflicting with these two... it's frustrating man)

It's possible to update the "Modding Framework UI" as well? I am having the same issue as Inardesco and Ana, campaign starts with a black screen. Before the recent hotfix who tweaked the Orcs technology tree and etc, my game was working fine (even with 100 mods)

Well, it is discontinued. :P most mods should be updated to use the 2.0 version, only exceptions to wit are frostydemise's which should be put up soon

It says it's 'Loading!' afte I click finalize when starting a new game. And it doesnt stop.

I'm uising Recruit Defeated Legendary Lords, One Button Respec, Gates of Chaos, Force Confederation and Chaos Invasion Choice.

If I use ESC and Save and Load game, I can get around the 'Loading!' but will the mods all still work?

I'm using this mod along with Legendary confederations. The mod works except for the fact I can't scroll down to use all the functions. If someone could please provide me with guidance or a link to solve this problem I would be very thankful.

@Green Raven - Gates of Chaos will be updated to the new one, there should be only a handful of left that require it by now. Planning on keeping it up until MCT 2 is feature complete and safe, and until all mods requiring this one are wrapped up

I have determined that when using Mixu's mods and certain MCT mods the game crashes on fey enchantress load. It seems to be a script break related to Sir Almaric spawning. I will switch over to the MCT 2.0 soon but I am just waiting for a few mods to update for it. The new one seems to fix the issue though.

When I start a new game, the MCM comes up but all the buttons are greyed out. I can't select anything or close the menu. I'm using SFO.

Has anyone figured out why the tool is greyed out for the Eltharion Mortal Empires campaign? It worked for me once and I cannot get it to work again. Downloaded KMM and everything.

I had Old World Rites with the default recruitment submod active in my Grom campaign. With this instead of the submod I don't get rites at all and no option to configure OWR either. Is there a fix or is the old submod still safe to use?

I have the same problem as Pentazer. This mod causes games in multiplayer to crash.

This thing seems to bug out really hard in multiplayer. The MCM pops up for all players in multiplayer, but only one person can click finalize which then causes a dsynch across all involved.

I figured it out. CA is a small indie company, so their mod manager doesn't work at all.
Use fan mod manager(Kaedrin's for example) - and everything will work.

So I am having an issue where none of my installed mods are showing up in ME? When the game starts the only thing I see is Basic Mod Settings. Any idea what this could be? Maybe I missed some install instructions?

Can anyone help, I can't seem to enable theatre of war mode. When I start a campaign the Mod Configuration Tool comes up, but I can't seem to scroll down in the Legendary Confederation section. I can only see Deadly Alliance and up to Yvresse but not it's enable or disable buttons. I have both UI Modding Framework and Mod Configuration Tool installed, and have disabled all my other mods. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@Tobs. This mod requires the "UI Modding Framework" mod to function. Make sure you have that mod activated together with this mod. Hope this helps

Ok so it seems like the actual cause for the issue i was having was the Tailored Factions Garrison mod. Not sure what the conflict is but once i turned it off my mods started appearing again when starting a new campaign.

So, when starting a game with Eltharion , having only Legendary Confederations, as well as Supply Lines reworked to configure with this mod, the mod is all greyed out, and I can't click anything. Works fine with the other new High Elf legendary lord :/

Had the same problem, you need to only use mods that have also been updated. When using a mod that hasnt been updated all of the updated ones will not appear.
