I think you can make anything a prop by going into spawn menu, right clicking it and then spawn with tool gun. Of course, though, there's the problem of running over it and picking it up.

i hate having to spawn them myself also i like the weapons that make people like disintergrate like the combine balls do

Weapons are the best. I thought about making maps too, because there's a disappointing lack of maps that automatically spawn zombies and combine soldiers for me to fight.

TF2 is free, but the download can take forever. If you download TF2, then the viewmodel should appear normally and you also get an awesome game as well.
