The issue this time is that PDX did release a patch which broke planet UI mods, so it's quite the exception. Not sure whether to update this mod, check out the other planet UIs out there, and if you don't like them, let me know and I'll update this. I have a major mod I work on, and this one would require starting from scratch again, so I'd only do it if people *really* wanted it.
The mechanics of the game are fine for a game of a smaller scope - managing say 5-10 worlds - but not for a game of empires.
@Der Weltmarktfuhrer - did you start a new game? Mods that add slots require a new game.
BASE_PLANET_BUILDING_SLOTS = 1 # defualt amount unlocked at start 1
MAX_PLANET_BUILDING_SLOTS = 16 # defualt number of slots
Oh sorry, I thaught I started a new game with your mod
You have to start a new game for it to work, which I found out when this mod was newly released.
Trying a smaller galaxy with no wormhole or gateways right now. I read on the forums it helps a bunch...I'll find out in a while. Apparently there are serious pathfinding issues with anything other than hyperlanes in regards to trade.
That'll never happen. The design approach of Stellaris and the way checks are run ensure that performance gets worse over time. They've actually doubled-down on that approach with the new system. It's interesting and deeper than tiles, but like the tiles it just accumulates too many assets that are checked inefficiently.
Pointless rant aside, I really do like this version better. And there are no game breaking bugs! Thank you.
Unfortunately can't get rid of crime and stability, and they have to appear in the same spot every tab, so hopefully people can overlook its awkwardness.
