Kind of underwhelming. The strongest part to me is the +2 Great Scientist point of the specialty district. Everything else is mid to low in my opinion.

@aleksandrmitagyn1223 - you need to add TSL to the USSR civ - there is a post by Dawn on 17 July 2023 in the comments on that mod that gives the sql code to insert.

@John Wakefield: Stalin probably wasn't all that interested in such ideas anyway; he was an extremely pragmatic man. What he was focused on was "how do we get more steel per year" or "how do we expand our influence", in other ways - how to get more power, as this was the only thing that makes the USSR meaningful (it was, after all, a revolution). It was Trotsky who was more into that, and he was not Stalin's friend.

Stalin wasnt an nationalist, but an internationalist who advocated for national self-determination through his works such as "On the national question"

I got a bug, when I launch the game playing as Stalin I don't spawn with any settlers. There's just nothing so I can't even build a city, anyway around this?

Lol. Germany won the war with Barbarosa. The only reason the USSR stayed afloat was the UK and the USA flooded them with unlimited aid. Without the USA they would've lost.

Without Stalin, it's likely Russia would not have the industrial base to repel the German invasion.
