So why do you change Movement "Illiroy Pantadopoi" from 3 to 2 ?
I think there is a reason why this light armored Spearman had movement 3 and not ass slow 2 like heavy Phalanx. ...and the worst thing is, this is not cosmetic !
You thought no one will see that ?
Mod " Improved Unit Stat UI " shows movement rates ;-)
I don´t want to know what "non cosmetic Stats" you have changed also, so
Good bye, Extravaganca.
I think the mod looks great but sadly the invisible armor/shields ends up making it not worth it.
Still great mod tho, awesome job etc <3
On contemporary depictions of praetorians, they are shown with Marian-style semi-oval shields,, so I'd say it's accurate to the period.
I would like to ask you a question, do you have a guide for how to reskin Rome and other factions? I mean for the DEI, I want to start a mod and I do not know how to start or how to move forward, the guides I have read talk about vanilla
And one last question, how should I ask the authors of the mod Roman Models Extravaganza 1.0.9 for permission?
The use of squamata is primarily just to introduce a bit more variety to the units - we don't know exactly when the Roman military adopted it, but it is believed to have existed during at least the late Republic, so it's not too much of a stretch to imagine Polybian legionaries wearing it.
Ref missing models, weird textures and so on - all of these will be down to mod conflicts. I'd recommend disabling everything bar this and Divide et Impera to ensure full functionality.
The LOD is something I have no control over - Rome uses sprites at extreme range for the units and they do tend to appear brighter than the actual 3D models.
The mounted Praetorians are depicted as Germans to reflect their use as the personal bodyguards of the Emperors during the Augustan period - they were preferred over native Italians due to their loyalty.
Is there a way?
