You write it is an cosmetic Mod.

So why do you change Movement "Illiroy Pantadopoi" from 3 to 2 ?

I think there is a reason why this light armored Spearman had movement 3 and not ass slow 2 like heavy Phalanx. ...and the worst thing is, this is not cosmetic !

You thought no one will see that ?

Mod " Improved Unit Stat UI " shows movement rates ;-)

I don´t want to know what "non cosmetic Stats" you have changed also, so

Good bye, Extravaganca. :steamthumbsdown:

Is there any mod like this based on Galatia?
Ostrogoth2299 15 Oct, 2023 @ 8:15pm
Hello, I am looking for help on making new custom assets such as Arms and Armor. and maybe creating new "races" or skins. I have tried using 3d max 2018 however it won't even permit me to use the software and I have tried blender have absolutely no idea how it works how to import or export models. So i am asking for help for those modders who know what they are doing when it comes to that stuff
JimboniusMaximus 13 Jul, 2022 @ 6:55pm

Marcus Aurelius Arabicus Maximus - The latest update for this mod is on 5 Feb, 2021 @ 3:39am. Does your fixed version still applies or has it been resolved by the update?

Even though this is an amazing mod there are a lot of clipping issues with almost every singe Roman unit on the upper right hand, but most importantly the Cohors Cannanefatium and Cohors Montanorum have their shoulders popping out.
dj_davies_1995 14 Jun, 2021 @ 2:28pm
Will you be updating this fantastic mod?
BJDERV 6 Jun, 2021 @ 11:09am

communityoffline 8 May, 2021 @ 12:00pm
Forgot about load order. Please help) Where to put it? On top og DEI or below?
Marcus Aurelius 7 May, 2021 @ 11:16am
@MissAlice , it's because historicaly , it wasn't used a lot for the time period aborded in Divide & Impera.
MissAlice 7 May, 2021 @ 7:51am
Why is it that almost none of your Legionaries are wearing Lorica Segmentata? Do you guys hate the Lorica Segmentata? It's a beautiful set of armor so why is there none?
Marcus Aurelius 20 Apr, 2021 @ 10:33am

hey mate awsome mod!!!!! can you updated for the latest dei version?
Stream1917 7 Mar, 2021 @ 9:39am
Since some models lacks armor/shields etc, does anyone know how use only the finished models of the mod? :)
I think the mod looks great but sadly the invisible armor/shields ends up making it not worth it.

Still great mod tho, awesome job etc <3

An other bug report : The ass of some soldiers is clipping through their pants for the Cohors militarium africa (imperial) :csgohelmet:
Marcus Aurelius 17 Feb, 2021 @ 1:11pm
I noticed few bugs , the camillian Roman Hastati (early) use Polybian/Marian officier and the pretoriae Scipionis Pilum is invisible
Marcus Aurelius 15 Feb, 2021 @ 1:16am
@Eldgrim Thank you
Eldgrim 15 Feb, 2021 @ 12:52am
@Marcus Aurelius
On contemporary depictions of praetorians, they are shown with Marian-style semi-oval shields,, so I'd say it's accurate to the period.
Marcus Aurelius 14 Feb, 2021 @ 1:16pm
Hey, Love your mod. Is that normal that Imperial Custodes Praetoriae use the Polybian/Marian shield while other imperial legionnaries use the rectanglat shape shield ? Would just want to know if this is historic or not
the_moon_wolfy 15 Jan, 2021 @ 9:06am
Is this mod ever going to be finished?
Philtatos 🌴 8 Jan, 2021 @ 11:16am
This mod is literally Unfinished and the some units have insivible weapons yet the shield patterns are good wish modder take his time and finish all the units so we dont have to play with unfinished models
Project_Scarface 20 Dec, 2020 @ 10:29am
@RobbStark
I would like to ask you a question, do you have a guide for how to reskin Rome and other factions? I mean for the DEI, I want to start a mod and I do not know how to start or how to move forward, the guides I have read talk about vanilla

And one last question, how should I ask the authors of the mod Roman Models Extravaganza 1.0.9 for permission?
Adhuc Stantes 7 Dec, 2020 @ 8:26am
now lets just imagine all the possibilities of why 1/7 of the triarii would look nearly as armorured as the typical depiction of a rorarii soldier xd
RobbStark  [author] 5 Dec, 2020 @ 7:39am
Adhuc Stantes - incorrect. The Polybian Roman Army was divided by age and experience, not wealth. You might have a young man from a particularly well to do family who could afford a nice set of mail or maybe owned a good quality helmet handed down to him by his father join the Hastati and similarly, an older, experienced veteran with a gambling problem who'd lost his mail armour in a game of dice fight with the Triarii. This also doesn't account for personal preference; for example a Triarius who'd worn the same old, battered pectoral armour chest piece for his entire military service because he found the weight more comfortable or because he thought it would give him good luck.
Adhuc Stantes 1 Dec, 2020 @ 12:34pm
Lorica Squamata just maaaaay have been used by polibyan units, I think not, but it is the high use of it what makes it ackward here, but anyway, its a bit unimmersive that some 23 years old hastati can afford heavy armor while a 40 years old triari can afford just a chest plate without even padded armor behind. He wouldnt be a triarii in first place.
Miyumi 1 Dec, 2020 @ 11:49am
@RobbStark, thank you for the explanation!
RobbStark  [author] 1 Dec, 2020 @ 9:06am
Adhuc Stantes - the Hastati do have a mix of mail armour to reflect the fact that younger men with more personal wealth would have been able to afford to wear it. There frequency is reduced compared with the Principes and Triarii however but due to the way the engine generates model variety, there may be instances where the Hastati seem to have more armour.
The use of squamata is primarily just to introduce a bit more variety to the units - we don't know exactly when the Roman military adopted it, but it is believed to have existed during at least the late Republic, so it's not too much of a stretch to imagine Polybian legionaries wearing it.
RobbStark  [author] 1 Dec, 2020 @ 9:00am
Hello everyone with your questions;
Ref missing models, weird textures and so on - all of these will be down to mod conflicts. I'd recommend disabling everything bar this and Divide et Impera to ensure full functionality.
The LOD is something I have no control over - Rome uses sprites at extreme range for the units and they do tend to appear brighter than the actual 3D models.
The mounted Praetorians are depicted as Germans to reflect their use as the personal bodyguards of the Emperors during the Augustan period - they were preferred over native Italians due to their loyalty.
Adhuc Stantes 1 Dec, 2020 @ 7:22am
I dont know if I should post this comment here or in the original extravaganza mod, but, even tho this mod is a must have for me, and I love it and ill keep using it, there is 1 detail that rest inmersion for me, some hastati carry more armor protection than some principes and triarii, plus, all this 3 units and polibyan cavalry use lorica squamata, wich looks a bit weird for the time period. That would be the one and only observation to be made from me. Thanks again for such amaizing work !!!
Miyumi 1 Dec, 2020 @ 4:33am
Love it but why does the mounted Pretorian guards look like gauls?
Thura26 29 Nov, 2020 @ 7:47am
Thanks for the great mod. Some units have bright LOD models. Is it possible or easy work to make LOD models darker?
Is there a way?
Sriracha Sauce 28 Nov, 2020 @ 12:05pm
can i have a comparison of this mod and the vanilla DEI mod on some units, how they look and the differences
angelitospartan 27 Nov, 2020 @ 3:40pm

@WestfordGaming 12 Nov, 2020 @ 5:34am
