Is it combatible with Shadowy Shadowmere?
Voodu  [skapare] 27 feb, 2013 @ 21:18
Shadowmere is obtained via the Dark Brotherhood Questline. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Shadowmere

I LOVE this mod, but please, can you make him dismissable? :P Even though he no longer tries to kill everyone like a retarded horse, he still follows me where ever I quicktravel... ANNOYING HORSE. And I hate having to kill him to get rid of him.

Can't you make an option to send him away? :P so you can pick him up later. Just like with other followers.

Shadowmere is the most annoying thing in the game lol
Voodu  [skapare] 15 jun, 2012 @ 13:33
No. As long as it's checked as active in the mod list it should work fine. I haven't checked it since the recent CK update but this is the only report I've gotten like this since.
theAlienWarlord 15 jun, 2012 @ 12:08
I even put it at the top of the load order list. Didn't work at the bottom. Or in the middle.
theAlienWarlord 15 jun, 2012 @ 12:04
Why is it not working for me? It is checked off and it still insists on getting in my way and screaming profanity in it's horibly anoying language. Can you please make it stop?

Shadowmere is obtained through the Dark Brotherhood questline. Also You could try the console command below but where Shadowmere is related to the DB faction it might not work for you. You could also try adjusting your faction with the DB through console commands or setting the stage of the quest that gets you Shadowmere to the correct stage, but either of those could break the quest or the whole faction.

Console command - player.placeatme <base_id> [amount]

Shadowmere base ID - 0009CCD7
howard.turpin 14 apr, 2012 @ 23:24
where can you find it
Voodu  [skapare] 3 apr, 2012 @ 8:19
@futurekilljoy - Read the older comments. This has been brought up already...and yes, I'm being stubborn :P
hugh janos 2 apr, 2012 @ 21:25
its a boy it says in the game
Voodu  [skapare] 27 mar, 2012 @ 21:15
Thanks for reporting back. Sorry the compatibility didn't work out for you but it's good to know anyhow.
Booch 27 mar, 2012 @ 16:52
tried changing mod load order but no change. deacon's mod has to load last so i cant really do much... too bad. i just "imagine" frost is a reckless stallion while shadowmere is my stealthy assassin horse. 'bout all i can do haha
Booch 26 mar, 2012 @ 14:16
i had originally commented on the Obvlivious Horses mod page but it got "deleted" (or maybe i forgot to hit enter lol) so i just posted here cuz im currently subcribed to this mod, sorry for any cunfusion. thanks for posting Deacon's comment, explains a lot.
Voodu  [skapare] 26 mar, 2012 @ 6:49
This was posted on the "Deacon's Forstier Frost" page by the author of that mod and explains why "Frostier Frost" and "Oblivious Horses" may be incompatible. Try adjusting the load order of your mods as suggested in his post below.

"Deacon Sawyer - This mod suffers comptabilty issues because I ahd to make a unique form for frost as Bethesda just had him as a named palomino, so to make it so that only he is white and not every palomino had to create new forms which other horse mods don't have. Those mods should still work just not for frost, and my mod will not work if other horse mods load after mine. I have tried multiple things to rectify compatibilty but unfortunately nothing seems to work."
Voodu  [skapare] 26 mar, 2012 @ 6:40
Are you sure it was this mod and not "Oblivious Horses"? This mod only effects Shadowmere and shouldn't change Frost at all. I'll definatly look into it anyhow. Thanks for the heads up on the conflict.
Booch 25 mar, 2012 @ 20:23
nice mod but can you make it work with "deacon's frostier frost?" it makes his color turn back to normal although the new saddle stays equipped... otherwise good, thanks.

Thank GOD!!!
Voodu  [skapare] 20 mar, 2012 @ 19:37
@GIRco Yes. It is also set to "Essential", "Invulnerable", "Is Ghost", "Doesn't Bleed", and "Doesn't Effect Stealth Meter". I also did extensive work with factions so that nothing will attack it in addition to it being passive and increased it's stamina pool so it will sprint/gallop for much longer.
Romulus Control 20 mar, 2012 @ 18:24
Maybe its just they way they talk, you know? Some people call all animals "she".
Duck McMallard 20 mar, 2012 @ 14:44
Shadowmere was female in oblivon and then in skyrim was male. There was no explanation given. He also changed colors he used to be bluish-black to dark brown.

On another note, did you change anything other than the speeds and making him pasive?
Luna Scintillata 19 mar, 2012 @ 15:22
Shadowmere is a girl?
Voodu  [skapare] 19 mar, 2012 @ 3:58
Shadowmere = Male... According to Astrid, who is a punk and a back stabber and probably just didn't know the history of the Dark Brotherhood. It's supposedly the same Horse from Oblivion which was female. I didn't know they did sex change opperations in Tamriel. Besides horses default to female like sports cars and cats. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it! :P
Blast Tyrant 18 mar, 2012 @ 16:50
@jinjod In Skyrim, maybe. Not so in Oblivion.
Voodu  [skapare] 18 mar, 2012 @ 13:42
There is an optional version on Nexus without the +20% speed boost but I didn't post it here because Steam won't give me the ability to post subdirectories and optional files. You can find the link to it above. I will post it here eventually too.
FoulDragon 18 mar, 2012 @ 11:11
i would really enjoy this mod a lot more if you could make the additional movement speed and stamina of the horse an option that one could opt out of if you chose. even if it was a command line, i would like that.
Voodu  [skapare] 17 mar, 2012 @ 6:23
Yea but I think Astrid is a joke and just dosen't know enough about the Dark Brotherhood's history. Shadowmere was a she in Oblivion. Besides horse default to "she" like sports cars and cats. :P

"Shadowmere is Lucien Lachance's Black Horse. She is given as a reward for completing the Dark Brotherhood quest The Purification. She is one of the fastest horses in the game..." from http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Shadowmere
droid9519 16 mar, 2012 @ 20:17
shadowmere is a guy you said she but astrid said he hasnt been riden enough js
Voodu  [skapare] 16 mar, 2012 @ 4:02
@Orgcon Working on it. I thought this would be a good place to start and make sure everything worke properly. Check back for more info soon!
Orgcon 16 mar, 2012 @ 2:42
A passive horses mod would be better not just Shadowmare.
Genø 15 mar, 2012 @ 15:00
Cool, I hate it when sometime I accidentally jump off a cliff just to die, invicible shadowmere sometime can be very useful. Thanks for the tweak.
Voodu  [skapare] 14 mar, 2012 @ 16:59
Thank you! I felt the same way. I think it should more than just time to hide behind your mount when you come across a dragon alone in the wilderness. Thanks for downloading :)
ACEHOLE_76 14 mar, 2012 @ 13:18
i love this, he made fighting dragons to easy and the extra speed is nice.
