This mod, on it's own, doesn't really give you any "options". It's a bugfix for animations when wearing the ruler-suits and using another mod (like Unrestricted Customisation Redux) to alter how the ruler-suit cosmetically appears.

It's a fix for abilities, it does nothing to armor/cosmetics.

The current instructions work well enough, to me Intellisense is a complicated magical thing, I'm just happy it works. Feel free to test your suggested approach, and if it works you're welcome to adjust the wiki. Not sure what "speaking reddit" is about.

Sorry, I don't speaketh the Reddit, monsieur. However, for future reference, you can copy the XComGame, DLC_1, DLC_2, DLC_3 and TLE folders from WOTC devkit over to a blank \steamapps\common\XCOM 2 SDK\Development\SrcOrig folder. The rest are mostly irrelevant. Easier to manage than a symlink and may cut down on parsing time. Only need the Classes folders. You can probably drop your own files in there too.

Which wiki? I just realized it's still in the state I left it in, many years ago... I don't think anybody has touched it since. I found the Reddit post. It mentions some bugs, oh, and the loading issue instead of static definitions... But, I haven't been able to find the 1-page modding links in a while now (oh nm, I was thinking about the Nexus EU/EW page, found that now)... I think the internet black-holed them as irrelevant. :\

I'm not sure what you mean. The intellisense linked on the wiki works with Modbuddy perfectly fine. If you mean the parsing that happens whenever you start Modbuddy, I learned to live with it. I don't think you'll be able to communicate with anyone from Firaxis who even knows what Intellisense is. I mean, devs obviously know, but you won't be able to talk to them.

I know this is unrelated but, do you have any updates on WOTC Intellisense for ModBuddy since 2020? Creating Intellisense extensions is time consuming. Have to pull class/members list and generate code from that. Not even sure how to implement in isolated shell environment. I bet Firaxis has one... How much are they charging or will they fork it over for free? Has anyone even asked? :\

Normally the look of the heavy weapon is determined by the technological tier of the armor equipped. Base game has a bug where the tech tier is set incorrectly for the RAGE Armor, so you may need to use that mod to get the right look:

Sorry to bother but how can i apply a wrist launcher (the one E.X.O armor has) to my character with R.A.G.E equipped? Since i can't find it and looks like it applied the powered tier launcher by default.

@Iridar Thanks for your quick answer. Steam showed the mod was installed but the alternative mod launcher showed it was not installed. I thought that was strange so I uninstalled it within Steam and then reinstalled. Now the mod shows as WOTC compatible. I do no know the cause but like a lot of Windows issues reinstalling did the trick.

I dont use UC. Currently after equipping a DLC armor, I am customizing the soldier again or use Uniform manager WOTC beta (for custom armors). So basically everything that's missing is a cosmetic DLC armors mod that is not UC.
It's a bit of a hassle to recustomize everything after upgrading / changing an armor, but I believe that's something to do with how the game handles upgrades and part selection since not every upgrade has the same amount of parts.
