When you see in-train views in YouTube videos, it is almost certainly because those cameras are provided with the train/loco by its creator. We can, of course, create custom camera positions for individual trains/locos on our own, have we the skill. (I do not.)

If you are still having trouble pressing 'page up' and 'page down' on the laptop numpads, make sure to disable the NumLK Button. That way it will function as a 'page up' or 'page down' button instead of the designated # key.
On the previous map, everything was fine.
For clearance as this seems new to you,
the modcreators make the manual,
YOU have to read it yourself, that's what it is for.
Just tested and yeah you're right, this is strange, let me figure that out why and what this is causing. Thanks for the report
I will explain those configs soon.... and also a way to simply add some custom values.
LG

I wanted to change the top-down-camera,
so i replaced:
{group = 0, transf = transf.rotZYXTransl(transf.degToRad(0, 90, 0), vec3.new(15, 0, 60)), fov = 40},
with:
{group = 0, transf = transf.rotZYXTransl(transf.degToRad(0, 45, 0), vec3.new(10, 0, 15)), fov = 45},
then, to find out what the vec3.new values mean, i changed those to:
vec3.new(10, 0, 15))
and suddenly the cameraswitching did not work anym...i could not change the cam....
welll, turns out, i mistakenly clicked on one of the passengers of my horsedrawn carriage °grins°
(just a heads-up for anyone who wants to edit the settings themselves.
Gute Arbeit!
LG
My mod does not overwrite other camera settings, problem is that other mods are maybe built that way, which I can not control. But I‘ll check what I can do.
time?
At the moment, when using both mods, some cameraviews cancel out the other mod's views.
This way, you both have your own valid mods instead of bloody noses from fighting over which ones' is the "better" :o)
Greetings, wicked one :o)
I have not played TPF in a while, so at first i thought "WOW someone finally added external
views!" Then i saw that is already part of the game.
Now i think "WOW, someone finally added MORE, configurable views!"
Great Work :o)
Small Itty-Bitty Issue with steam locomotives:
The camera is attached to those long steel bars
that connect the wheels, so the cameraview goes up and down and up and down and so on.
(i am not a train-enthusiast, i do not know the proper terms)
This Bug, if you may call it so, is kinda funny even, it looks a bit as if the locomotive would move
like a human. At least the view does not TURN with the wheel, TeeHee
I tested that with some of the vanilla steam locomotives and so far, that happens with the
Baldin's Six-Wheels. (i tried 3 others (but not all of them) where it does not happen.
I guess, modded locomotives will be a case-by-case situation, but that then is obviously not your
problem or fault)
That weird movement happens only on the side-cameras (group 2)
So this cannot be tested against vanilla TPF.
