Задумка классная, но отказывается работать
На заводе инструментов не хватает досок? Ок. Посылаю кучу фур на производство древесины, посылаю кучу фур на отправку досок на завод инструментов.
Итог: Досок на заводе инструментов не хватает, смотрю на производство досок, там не хватает бревен, иду к бревнам что производство бревен не увеличивается, забагалось что бревна на складе, а перед транспортировочным пунктом колонная грузовиков ждущих отгрузки.
И так в каждом предприятии

In case anyone's interested, I think I found a solution to the GE C40-8W crash. I posted a topic about it on Steam's Transport Fever discussion board.

I have found that the process of transporting goods from the factory to the loading and unloading station is too slow,resulting in the supply chain not keeping up .I am not sure if it is adjustable?However,it is a good mod :steamhappy:

@GamerDaGreat Unsure if you worked that out or not, but when you "load" a game, there's a little + Symbol in the "enabled mods" list below the save files.

Just hit that and enable no cost, do your thing then save and turn it back off again :3

I like to modify the map, the roads and the industry with the No Cost mod enabled and then play the map without the No Cost mod enabled.

But the exesive maintenance cost of the new industries is so much that it impossible to do that.

Any sugestions on how i can make it work?

@RecalledMeat 1 - Can't help there since i run modded wagons and mine seem to accept bauxite fine, but i noticed that not all wagons can;
2 - The bus stops there are built in for ease of use only and only if you activate an option of the mod for the factories needing workers;
3 - This mod has an old not fixed bug where even if you use cargo magnets mod for this one mod certain factories simply refuse to accept certain goods. I even tried using lines going independently to each factory but it doesn't work.

Love this mod however I’ve got a few questions.

1) I’m at the 1950’ish mark and have bauxmite mine but none of the train cargo cars can be set to pick up bauxmite. Trucks can be set to pick that up though. Trains can get aluminum though. Any ideas?

2) for the factories that have a bus stop built in, do I need to run bus lines to help them level up? It seems like those factories with the bus stop are they are struggling to grow even though there is a lot of demand for their items.

3) last, I noticed I got planks going to a machine factory and a good factory. The machine factory seems to be getting almost all the planks, even when I add another forest to the supply chain, the extra ones go to the machine factory. Anyway to manually control where they go? I’ve tried adding more places to send the goods but there’s no progress.

If you are indeed unlucky that factory's wont upgrade to level 2 or production sticks between 10 or 20 potential, Go to TFCE and change game day length to default (2000) and Download TPMME and go to the Industry DLC and then Edit Mod, And change the multiplier to x10. If that still doesn't help I recommend to reset all your TFCE and TPMME settings.
And if that still doesn't help reinstall youre game. And if that still doesn't help, then IDK anymore.

hi there. and sorry for hte bad englisch.
i have problem with some goods wagon. when i bye one for steel or other goods then crashes my game with that failure:

File:vehicle/waggon/sahimms_900_db.mdl

cannot open res/models/group/vehicle/waggon/drehgestelle_kalut/dg_ba_713_lod__0.grp: No such file or directory

This error is usually caused by modding. The syntax of some game resources is not correct.

Yes please for TPF2 - But it's a lot of work - perhaps we should pay for it? Working as it should I think it would be worth 20Euro of anybodies money.

If it comes to TpF2 then it should get fixed and finished first...It was unfortunatly crap in Tpf1 with all errors and missing things which were never fixed.

didn't work for me, the callback of another mod is being called, the modelCallback of NI_vehicle.lua never got called. changed name of function and in addModifier, now it runs, but crashes savegames, due to altered capacities :(

If I read through the comments from the last months it seems that no fix has yet introduced...I haven't played TPF in months since I was to busy with Cities Skylines...But it seems like the author of this mod is gone too. Like I said in comments from months ago, it is still a nice mod, but it must work and be made bug-free. The mod still seems unfinished if you ask me, so unfortunatly this mod is still no go for me.

I started a new game with the Industry DLC and capacity mod. However the game crashes. If i remove the industry DLC it loads okay. It seems to be a conflict with the capacity mod. Any fix for this?

Hallo jpittlack . Nun weil dies ist kein Add-On oder irgendein zusätzlicher Inhalt (kein DLC indem Sinne,- gemeint ist DLC für das Hauptspiel), dies ist Version 1.3! Ich denke dass du noch die Version 2.54 von der New Industry hast. De-installiere bzw., entferne 2.54 (oder ältere)

Yep, that is the regular costs...
Start at Zero level and let them scale on their own.

If the game places the industries you don't pay upkeep, but for your own you do.

As it is when I build industries it's like a cluster of Iron Ore, Coal, Crude Oil, Bauxite, Stone and Timber on one really big freight station. This goes to a Steel, Aluminium, Lumber Mill, Refinery and from there to a Tools, Goods and Construction Mats Factory.

Usually two separate stations at the end of line. Receiving and Exporting.

The Exporting almost always go to a passenger station in the center of town, often an underground.

Takes awhile to acculmulate enough money for this to be successful but once it's started you are making billions.

Just noticed something else - wonder if anyone else has this or maybe it's some sort of conflict on my system. I had placed all those industries with the no cost mod on just to populate the entire map but just now while in game, I tried to place some and the prices are just astronomical! $30M for a landfill? $75M for a quarry at production level 0? (For level 4 it's $375M!!!) That's insanely high!

Absolutely LOVE the concept of this mod but unfortunately, it's simply unusable. I completely redid my USA map with the new industries and ran a short test. Not even running freight, I just set up a little Northeast Corridor train route from Boston to DC. 7 Stations, 2 trains. I was testing to see how the cities developed along the east coast. Early in the second year,I noticed my property maintenance costs were exceeding $3,000,000 per month!!! WTF? I wondered if maybe all those industries that have truck stops built into them were dinging me but even still, it would have to be a HUGE amount. Tried to bulldoze some of those industries and the cost was $50M in some cases! Again, WTF is that? Ugh ...

TPF2 will almost certainly be modded out of that limit, probably even before the game hits the market...

TPF2 I don't like the sound of how the industry is being changed - town needing only two cargo types! It MAY make game play interesting (?) but it is far less realistic. Dumbing down rather then anything else. Pity as the graphics look great.

Interested in what you find out. But beware that the mod works fine (with or without other mods) for a while but starts to stop production chains later on for no apparent reason! There may be other issues at the same time making finding problems tricky! Good luck!

Ran your DLC it worked perfectly so long as all other mods were turned off I’m slowly reintroducing some other mods to which cause the conflicts, I’m suspecting it a vehicle at this stage I love what it adds to the game, however the international freight harbour had me confused for a while it needs a large body of water to fit. Until I get that working, I’m confused as to the salt. Another thing is the fishing grounds keep asking for a road connection which seems rather odd. A video tutorial on the DLC would great if possible, to explain the finer points. Like I said it is fantastic keep up the good work
