This looks like a nice mod :) I'm like someone else who commented earlier, I want to keep pets around for companionship, not for battle, so I feel bad when they die. If this fixes that I'd be all for it. And it's not like it's broken either, because most pets aren't very powerful in combat anyway.

poison scaraven is a good one for combat

just capture a mob from the bounty quests, they have super high stats(including hp) and are guaranteed to be their elemental variant

I used Any Capture to get Erchie the Erchius Ghost, and the Tentacomet whacked him, and I got mad, thanks for this! Not sure how it's gonna fit on him though...

now i know if you can beat the entire game with a lumoth pet

Well, that's an opinion. Sure, these mods don't have as much effort put into them as things like Frackin' Universe, etc. But this person wanted to modify the game, for their own personal reason. In the middle of creating it they probably thought to themself "Hmm, maybe other people would want this mod, maybe my issue isn't as rare as I thought." If you don't want to use the mod, then don't use it. Personally, I won't use it because I don't use pets. But you could decide to not use it because it's 'low effort' and a 'cheat mod', whatever floats your boat.
