i ran all the diffrent packs for few turns did not have any problems
you can activate all and see if you can play full game through

you only use a mod when you activate it in mod manager

but as i see it just choose one pack containing faction you desire to play with and activate only that pack in mod manager

no need to use all since you can only play one faction at once
you desire another faction from another pack just deactivate the one pack and activate another one

Does it mean that I shouldn't subscribe those mods all together OR is there some kind of switch in game which allow me to run those mods and I shouldn't run all of them?
Instructions are not clear.

Hellirborg has the wrong icon here and the faction which that icon belongs too doesnt appear to be included in any of your packs? The borough that controls suthampton? could you add them?

Sorry everyone! I've only just realised that I missed your posts! :S

@White Squall - I'm glad you're having fun! Unlocked Gaelic factions do not use the legitimacy mechanic. The -60 displayed at the top is just the legitimacy bar bugging out because the faction doesn't use it. It has no affect on your faction whatsoever. It's true that you won't be able to freely annex anybody but uniting Ireland by the sword is much more fun... and I'm not just saying that because I'm English :P

@Howvoutno - I cannot seem to replicate this issue. Does it occur all the time or only when your country is at war? I tried hovering over when both at peace and after declaring war on Northymbra and my game remained stable.

LOVE being able to play as Connacht and rule my ancestral irish lands as the King whose name mine is derived...

but kinda sucks having my Legitimacy locked at -60. makes the game pretty damn hard lol. all my generals and governors try to rebel as soon as hired, i only make half my money in taxes, no free annexations and a few other problems.
despite this, im managing to do fairly well. but it would be nice if that werent the case lol

figured out the issue it was a faction mod and how do you do a artical estate?

@iftlc - I'm not 100% sure. But my best guess would be that, even though you have seemingly captured all of their settlements, they still have surviving armies. Since Rome II, factions are no longer destroyed when they lose all their cities but instead become 'nomadic' if they still have surviving armies on the campaign map. Defeat those and that will wipe the faction out.

If this problem persists, even if all their armies are destroyed, I'd say just disable the mod and restart your campaign. After all, if you've only just expanded into Westernas, I'd imagine you aren't too far into your playthrough and Strat Clut is a vanilla faction which doesn't require this mod to be playable anyway.

There is a link at the top of the description to a thread that shows a few mods that other users have told me are compatible with this series of mods. But, as a general rule, if a mod edits the game's startpos file then I cannot ever make it compatible. Most graphical mods (ones that change flags/faction colours/armour etc.) should mostly work fine whereas ones that change several aspects of the game mechanics and complete overhauls (such as Radious) will not.

This pack (and all others) still seems to be working fine for me. So long as you are only running one pack at a time and you aren't running any incompatible mods alongside it, I don't know what to suggest other than re-subscribing to the mod or re-installing your game.

Irish units with war dogs ( the CU, the ancient wolfhounds,much stronger than modern dogs ) should have a speed equal to or better than archers and light infantry. The men could run as fast as any other warriors but the dogs could keep up with light cavalry. Dogs in Total war are too slow.

@RobG4 - Just fixed the name bug. Instead of '[NAMELESS]' she should now be called 'Anlaith'. Since I had to edit the startpos and not the localisation files to fix it, you'll most likely have to restart your Connacht campaign if you want to see it take effect.

@Hoban Washburne - The legitimacy issue is most definitely just a UI bug, trust me. As for your rebellion issues, I would guess it is due to many of the Irish kings have very low starting influence. Loading up as Ulaid, I noticed that all adult characters have 0 loyalty due to 'being more influential than the ruler'. Similarly, as @RobG4 has stated, the King of Connacht also begins with next to no influence. I'm sure this is what is causing rebellions on the second turn. Just make sure to pay off characters with 0 loyalty before you end the turn and you should be fine.

@RobG4 - Yeah, the starting influence of characters has been left untouched so this isn't an issue caused by the mod. Saying that, having played as several factions with a 1 influence king, I cannot say it severely hampers you. Especially when you've got a decent income to placate any rebellious governors/generals.

Thanks for pointing out 'Princess [NAMELESS]'. I'll see if I can find a way to give the poor girl a proper name. Either this is merely a localisation oversight on the part of Creative Assembly, or it is actually an ancient Gaelic name of great prestige that has long been lost to history. My guess would be that it's the former.

Unfortunately, the legitimacy issue is not just a UI bug. Playing as Ulaid I have rebellions in both provinces on the second turn. Connacht does not take long to have rebellions either. If you could take a look into it, I would much appreciate it as I really only picked this mod up to have more Gaelic factions. Thank you.

@Kitzi - This sounds like a vanilla issue to me, the mod doesn't alter stuff like that. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I didn't think the option to intercept enemy armies was a thing in ToB? I don't think I've ever been given the option to attack armies moving through my zone of control like in Empire Total War. I know I've had moments like this where small stacks have trolled their way past my armies to ravage my lands even though, in a real-time situation, I could have just crushed them as they attempted to march past. I share in your frustration but, unfortunately, there isn't anything I can do about this.

Playing as Gallgoidel , positioned the leader's army in front of a bridge, on my enemies northern hunting camp *forget the name). During npc phase, enemy completely walked over the bridge and retook to hunting grounds! No zone of control. Tried putting the army infront of the bridge and they still marched through me.:steamsad:

@I Emma Black - The -60 legitimacy displayed at the top of the screen is just a UI bug. I haven't thus far been able to implement culture mechanics for the Gaelic kingdoms (or Danes or Sea King factions) so they don't actually have access to the legitimacy mechanics at all. In short, while it may display -60 legitimacy on the UI at the top of your screen, your faction will not experience its effects and shouldn't immediately implode into anarchy as soon as you click 'end turn'.

@Stirling - Does the mod appear in the game's launcher (under the 'Mod Manager' tab)? On top of subscribing to it here, you also have to enable it there before you load the game for unlocked factions to show up on the faction selection menu for campaign.

@Exu - After searching around online, I managed to come across a handy tutorial that allows for editing a faction's recruitment. After trying it myself, it seems to work. I haven't tested it properly to see if it works with the technology unlock system, but it seems that Westmoringas (and Westernas which had a similar issue) has been fixed!

@Exu - I've noticed this as well. Unfortunately, I still don't know how to add/change units for factions. The problem is, allowing factions to recruit different units is easy enough but I don't know how to get them to show up in the recruitment pool.
