@ManicMayo - The prob with the family tree might be because the is a faction you in the base game apart of the same family tree E.G. Fortrui has the same family tree with Crecrin if i spelled that right all pictish nation are in the same tree but this could be it but I AM NOT AN EXPERT.

looking at the pics i am like FINALY MORE FACTIONS -all playable factions (because there is no scroll in it so you can't selected then all.) But dose it work with sheildwall

RE Fortriu - the family trees are linked with Circenn (Fortriuvian leader is Aed's nephew) - is that maybe causing the crashes?

Yeah, I wish I could find out what is causing this issue. I was optimistic that giving them their own faction traits could potentially fix it, thinking that perhaps being tied to the Circenn ones was the cause of the crashing, but it didn't seem to do anything. I'm thinking of maybe trying to move it from the Scottish to the Irish sub-culture to see if that makes a difference.

I'd love to be able to play as Fortriu, though!

@Lovemassownage - I am already aware of this issue and I am unfortunately unable to figure out what is causing it. The other Pictish faction (Athfochla) and the Welsh faction of Seisilwig also have this problem.

trying to open the family tree for fortriu it crashes is it possible for you to fix

Playing as Airgialla, Mide declares war on Breifne, I end up at war with Mide as well. Still Ailech's vassal, Ailech is not at war.

@jfrankcom - I imagine they had originally planned to unlock more factions through DLC, there's even a dedicated tab for downloadable content on the menu, but subsequently decided against it due to the relatively limited interest in the game. It's a real shame that this game was quickly forgotten by the majority of the Total War community. Otherwise, more experienced modders would have made this mod instead of me and we'd probably have something as polished as the faction unlockers for Rome II and Attila available for ToB.

Sadly though, given the time since release and CA's focus on Three Kingdoms, I seriously doubt we can expect any further content for this game outside of the usual occasional tweaks to the UI/mechanics and small bug fixes. After all, when money is all you care about, you aren't going to waste time on a product that isn't selling.

Fortriu with its mountain hideout is a faction I really want to play... how annoying that it is one of the only one's that has this weird bug? Maybe there is something embedded in it because CA are planning to release some more playable factions and it is one of them? What are CA up to.... if they're going to release more factions why won't they hurry up and get on with it.

@Crispy Bæsj - Still a complete mystery to me, unfortunately. I am currently trying (and mostly failing) to give factions access to their culture mechanics and I'm really hoping that's all that's required to fix it. Saying that, giving Welsh factions the heroism mechanic didn't fix the similar CTD issue for Seisilwig so I wouldn't exactly say I'm feeling confident about it.

Hi, I am wondering if you have figured out the faction overview bug for the pictish factions, is there any way to fix this?

I certainly would if I could. But unfortunately I only know how to unlock factions with the ToB Assembly Kit. Unless I'm mistaken, you cannot use it to edit pre-existing mods such as Radious. Apologies.

can you make this compatible with radious?
