Would putting the individual combat speed mods for movement and kills together basically be this but slightly slower, in between this and base DEI?

On in that mod its intentional but I haven't worked on it myself. I just advised creator on how certain things work in-game.

i havent try this one. i already have one of your mod. its called ( DEI,realistic charge,speed and mass) but my heavy unit still move really slow when charging . its like 0.5x video speed.

Yes, granted in base DeI charge speed is lower as intended, since chasing routing guys gives unit infinite charge phase. If heavy infantry would outrun routing light infantry, then there is no need to use cavalry or lighter units for the chase. Real charges would not occur with people sprinting anyway, but in games we are stuck with more Hollywood approach to charges.

Standard DeI animations, we have heavily changed them to be more culture specific, so Romans have more stab-based kills, compared to Celts who have more slash-based kills.

I think the naming is a bit deceiving here. "Dynamic Combat Speed" implies a combat speed that is changing (either increasing or decreasing) actively depending on variables in the battle. Yet, the actual mod only does "even faster combat and movement speed"

Can anyone who has used this mod confirm if it makes it possible to actually break enemies frontally through anything other than sheer number spam and exhausting their units? Getting tired of having to flank and spank literally every battle to win in a reasonable time. Plenty of ancient battles were decisively won by one army breaking through the enemy's centre or pushing back on either flank, often due to superior quality of troops.

In the current DEI version it seems to hardly matter whether I'm using levy spearmen or highly veteran legionaries on my front line, their only purpose is to hold the enemy in place while my other units flank around from behind and actually end the battle. Makes battles both repetitive and unrealistic in my opinion, especially some like siege attack and defense and bridge/fort battles where flanking and surrounding the enemy often isn't an option.

Yes, just last CA patch is causing all sorts of issues with mod launcher and users need to change stuff on their end to fix it, like to delete Rome 2/Launcher folder and then verify game files to redownload it.

It works but you either have mod conflict, you put it below DeI in load order or launcher is at it again and randomly decides it wont launch this one for you.

Recently mod launcher is working in odd ways, try to delete Launcher folder from Rome 2 location, then verify game files and see it that fixes it.

Usually I would have done the update like few minutes after we updated main mod but...I felt asleep trying to get my daughter to sleep so I had to do the update next day :D

Game crashes from today and having worked through mods it appears that it is this particular mod that causes the crash. All other mods do not cause a crash and are all above 3 main DEI mods.

I have done what it says but it still crashes.
