@6MP The way the environments get used in the campaign sadly isn’t really a % chance, but more like individual maps almost always using the same 1 or 2 environments. So if i was to change an Empire environment you would see it very often in the same campaign map areas. For example the sigmar statue minor settlement only uses 1 unless there is corruption, so changing that would mean basically half the battles in the empire would be night since that map is used everywhere.

I think the lighting in battles is perfect. There's "Ultimate Lighting + Random Weather" mod that has day and night, but even though night isn't supposed to happen too often, every 3rd map is a night map where it's hard to see stuff and everything has a green tint and tinge to it. So I think this mod is fine how it is, we don't need every weather/lighting mod to be the same. If you want day and night, try a different mod.

Can you make night battles more statistically possible? I seem to get tons of days with empire battles in Empire regions, was wondering do you have the chance algorithm for each map? night day snow etc.

I've updated most environments to look as best as possible for the upcoming last WH2 DLC. Also updated the screenshots so they're up to date.

I wonder if this mod is responsable for the weird haze/heat effects in my game. Is anybody experienced glitched effects on desert regions? It looks blocky to me, it's weird

@In The Mud It will affect them. But i don't use GCCM so i don't know how their maps use environments. These environments were balanced around vanilla maps. If you use GCCM and see snow in badlands that's not my fault.

I've added snow possibility for the empire environments. I've also just reduced the amount of snow to make it look like light snowfall and not Norsca.

That sounds like a lot of work for you, sadly.:steamsad:
If you dicide to fix it... just take your time, bud.
Even with this (imho) little issues the mod is a big improvement for the game.
At least for me.

btw: It seems not to be a problem on all maps with shallow water.

Do you want further reports on this topic? If so, with screenshot and skybox?
(Maybe open up a new map-report-thread? Just a suggestion.)

@Schattenkind Ok so turns out years ago when i started this mod and didn't know what i was doing, i messed with all the shallow water colors. I seem to have fixed all of them now. I'm not sure if the issue in the Estalian map is fix-able, i think that separate colors might be a default game issue.

unfortunately the link could not help me. Since it is a bug of TWW2 vanila that apparently is still not fixed, apparently all savegames are corrupt for me and I have to start all over in the campanines.

Hello Oblivious

I found some other small "bugs" in the Mortal Empire Campaign.

- Angerrial Map (it's next to Lothern) also bright blue water.

- First Quest-Mission for Eltharion the Grim has the same blue water issue.
(Sorry, but i don't know the english name for the mission... something with Hoeth... i guess)

- On the Tobaro Map (Estalia, South-Realm) the ocean in the background looks "broken".
You can see a lot of bright blue squares in the sea.

Most of these issues seem to be directly connected with the Screen-Space-Reflection & Screen Space Ambient Occlusion Option in the grafic-menu. Without this it looks a lot less extreme.

- Some of the water (right side and background) on the Eagle-Gate map (Ulthuan) has bright green edges. It looks similar to a faction border but it appears even without the hud.

None the less: It's a really fantastic mod witch improves the game so much. :steamhappy:

@ReDDragon A quick google search led me here https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/594570/discussions/0/1639788130279415544/ (Ctrl+F skybox_fix) It seems like it's the name of another mod. Might have been removed or changed on the workshop.

But since the last update today I can't no load my savegame. when i select the savegame from menu it show a message "skybox_fix is not a part of the mods".
have you change the name or other changes for "skybox_fix"?

One thing I noticed is in the Helmgart map, the water is a really weird shade of bright blue, it looks quite out of place. It might be on a few other empire maps as well, but I'd have to check.

I've improved some Lustria/Skaven map environments. It had been a while since i looked at them and they were either too bright or too dark. Should be fine now.

I've added the moon texture from Three Kingdoms to vampire maps (Used in Mazisky's Mod).

This will be a work in progress for now, if there are any issues with the vampire maps, or moons where there shouldn't be, let me know.
